I forgot this was Fox so they’ll be no post game show.

Todd Jones...."that one guy, I forget his name, hit a home run. And congrats to Finnegan, who got his first Tigers save."

There, a post game show...🤣🤣

Over the last 10 games Cleveland has now actually lost a game on Detroit.

And over the last 19 games Cleveland has lost 1.5 games on Detroit.  They had closed to within 7 games before the Tigers launched this 13-6 stretch. Win tomorrow and it’s .700 ball for a 20-game block, but even with a loss it would be .650 ball for a 20-game block.  That is an impressive response to the 1-12 swoon

I can't find the length of game in any of the box scores.  That used to be a standard part of every box score.

3:16

Between first pitch and attendance.

3:16 fourth line from the bottom. Looks like a Bible passage.

Thank you!  Don't know why I missed it before.  I guess my eyesight is going along with everything else!

That must have been one of the the longest games since they started using the pitch clock.  It seemed that way anyway.

Fox crew stat guys apparently not very good. Late the game - Early in the 9th, Smoltz said he thought MN pitchers must be over 200 pitches and it just sort of hung there - either no-one was looking it up for him or they couldn't do the math. Eventually  - maybe two batters later, they came up with that they were over 210.

They were too busy looking up the NFL on Fox schedules
