And these were all just general equations unrelated to the space program for obvious reasons. And even though I’d heard it before, it hadn’t sunk in that the term “computer” was originally applied to human beings who could “compute.“ great photograph though and I remember when LIFE Magazine was a big deal. I'm surprised they had a green chalk board in 1957, but green or black that is a helluva chalk board. Quote

I mean, a modern recreation, not an original of course. 1 Quote

I received the jersey as a Christmas gift in 1984, it’s the only Wings jersey I have ever had and I wear it to games to this day. Have worn it to games in Detroit, Vancouver, Denver, Chicago and Toronto. One of these days I may put together a montage from the past 41 years and post it in the Wings’ forum. Sports_Freak Posted August 21 Posted August 21 The Tigers have the best record in the AL. I like being the chasee better than the chaser. We control our own destiny, just win all the games and we get home field advantage thru the ALCS. Pretty simple...😆 1 Quote
lordstanley Posted August 21 Posted August 21 Royals won today but it was impossible for the magic number to have gone down today anyways. Even if the Royals had lost, the magic number with respect to Cleveland would have remained at 25. Quote
Edman85 Posted August 21 Posted August 21 I see four magic numbers at play. -Home field -Bye -Division -Playoff Spot Quote
