sagnam Posted September 19 Posted September 19 This has the be the first firing of the year, right? Sure they played better than anyone expected, but they are 0-3 and a mess. Quote
RandyMarsh Posted September 19 Posted September 19 I was curious so I looked at the Dolphins game results the past few seasons and unless I missed somebody I only saw 1 win in the past 3 calendar years against a winning team(at the time of the game) and that was a 2 pt home victory against Dallas in 2023. If that is indeed accurate that is just wild. Quote

A lot can happen in the NFL throughout the year (injuries, other teams figuring out there weaknesses, ....etc) although there defense looks dominant and Love looks on point. They don't have as difficult schedule as we do (especially early on) but its not an easy schedule. If they maintain this success throughout the year, the Parson's trade was an absolute success. Which is different than what I originally thought. The fact that this team is as young as it is will definitely help with not having their 1rst round pick the next two years. We have a tough division, especially if JJ is for real. Ben taking over the Bears scares me although until proven wrong, I am not sold on Williams. Lions are going to have to be on point this year and not have injury problems if they even want to make the playoffs. They better figure stuff out soon or its going to be a long season. This isn't panicking, I am not jumping off the Lions hype train (I am still fully on board even if they have a down year). This is just being realistic. The Packers look good now but I don't put much stock into early season results. Obviously they count as much as late season results but it takes teams a while to find their true selves during the regular season as it takes time for teams to develop chemistry and get used to the regular season grind so I think it's a wait and see on every team to really know how good or bad they are outside of the Bears who always suck. Tied in the 4th quarter, their defense stopped the Bills and were getting the ball back. But a roughing the punter penalty gave the Bills a 1st down and eventual TD. And the Dolphins threw a pick which killed their chances. The Bills covered but not by as much as I thought they would. Quote

Via ESPN, the Dolphins under McDaniel are 25-12 against teams that enter a game at .500 or worse. Against teams that enter a game with a winning record, Miami is 3-14.” Quote

It’s just stupid and undisciplined. 1 Quote

In my opinion, it lost them the game. Miami was down by 7 once they got the ball back and forcing a throw lead to the interception. Special teams coach should be fired. Quote

At this point you can just wait until McDaniel is fired and clear out the whole staff. 1 Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Not sure a way for Raheem Morris to get blown out and shut out by the Panthers in his second season without being on the hot seat tomorrow. Doubt they make a move but this is the type of loss that sticks with you. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I am so sick of hearing about how great Jordan Love is. Jordan Love sucks. Horrible HORRIBLE decision and throw vs. the Browns just now. Stupid play call too. Should have just run the ball and let your defense keep the Browns out of the end zone like you have all day. I am enjoying it, mind you, but what a stupid moment for the Packers. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Love kind of reminds me of a young Wentz. He will make great plays and then makes some head scratchers. Quote

I keep exepcting them to turn a corner because there is a lot of talent there and a lot of weapons on offense, but they just never really do. A good coach gets something out of that team and yeah, if they lose another one like that - he's probably out because I don't think the Buccs are going to run away with that division. Quote

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I struggle to see the Packers making a deep run with him in command. If you evaluate him in a vacuum, he's mediocre. But he's been riding the coattails of Favre and Rodgers for the better part of two years. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted September 21 Posted September 21 I don't know how he didn't scoop and score on that block. Packer Luck? Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted September 21 Posted September 21 What is this, a 55 or 56 yard attempt? What if there's another block here? Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted September 21 Posted September 21 YES YES YES BIG BEAUTIFUL BROWNS BABY !!!! 1 Quote
gehringer_2 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Good strategy by the Browns there to go for a play just long enough for their kicker but short enough to get to the line fast. Even if they had missed the kick it was the only way to do it. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted September 21 Posted September 21 All because of that unbelievably bad throw by Love !!!! Quote
Motown Bombers Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Thank god. The media can stop gargling the Packers balls now. Quote
lordstanley Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Lolololol. Needed this good news to make my mind off baseball. 1 1 Quote
