By the way, this game is on Fox and last time mlb.tv allowed me to watch it in Idaho. I don’t know how this works for all of you in the Detroit area. I presume you can watch it on local Fox there. Those of you who live elsewhere may get screwed. 

In Idaho it is assumed that no one in their right mind would ever want to watch the Tigers, the team with the best record in the American League. So my local Fox affiliate will let me see the Mariners and Cleveland and Cleveland is great because they haven’t lost a single game all year long and none of their players are serving long jail sentences… yet. 

There will of course, be no FanDuel pregame show.

Well, 7 minutes ago the MLB.TV feed came on and all it is is commercials with a one second shot of the playing field and then another round of commercials. Maybe the Fox broadcast won’t begin until the first second of the first pitch I don’t know.

I hope the Tigers don’t do one of two things in the first inning. The first thing I don’t want them to do is to make three easy outs in a row.

The other thing I don’t want them to do is load the bases with no outs and then make three easy outs in a row.

Jason is the announcer for Fox. He might have to rein it in a little bit today because they’re making him wear a sportcoat and a tie, and the other announcer is wearing a sportcoat and a tie.

As I recall last weekend, the Apple TV broadcast was constantly pitching betting opportunities. I don’t know if Fox will do that or not.
