IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 10:19 PM Posted Saturday at 10:19 PM By the way, this game is on Fox and last time mlb.tv allowed me to watch it in Idaho. I don’t know how this works for all of you in the Detroit area. I presume you can watch it on local Fox there. Those of you who live elsewhere may get screwed. In Idaho it is assumed that no one in their right mind would ever want to watch the Tigers, the team with the best record in the American League. So my local Fox affiliate will let me see the Mariners and Cleveland and Cleveland is great because they haven’t lost a single game all year long and none of their players are serving long jail sentences… yet. There will of course, be no FanDuel pregame show. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 11:07 PM Posted Saturday at 11:07 PM Well, 7 minutes ago the MLB.TV feed came on and all it is is commercials with a one second shot of the playing field and then another round of commercials. Maybe the Fox broadcast won’t begin until the first second of the first pitch I don’t know. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Saturday at 11:10 PM Posted Saturday at 11:10 PM Saturday game...we've been better recently. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM I hope the Tigers don’t do one of two things in the first inning. The first thing I don’t want them to do is to make three easy outs in a row. The other thing I don’t want them to do is load the bases with no outs and then make three easy outs in a row. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 11:12 PM Posted Saturday at 11:12 PM Jason is the announcer for Fox. He might have to rein it in a little bit today because they’re making him wear a sportcoat and a tie, and the other announcer is wearing a sportcoat and a tie. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 11:15 PM Posted Saturday at 11:15 PM As I recall last weekend, the Apple TV broadcast was constantly pitching betting opportunities. I don’t know if Fox will do that or not. Quote

Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Saturday at 11:20 PM Posted Saturday at 11:20 PM is AJ Pierzinski the color commentator? I'm only half paying attention. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 11:21 PM Posted Saturday at 11:21 PM Now I’m hoping that Jack does not serve up a long ball to the first batter. If he doesn’t do that, all my hopes will have been hoped out and I’ll stop hoping. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 11:24 PM Posted Saturday at 11:24 PM No first batter home run, so I guess I’ll just take what I get. Quote
papalawrence Posted Saturday at 11:26 PM Posted Saturday at 11:26 PM Whitt Jr is becoming too much like Ramirez vs Detroit Quote

holygoat Posted Saturday at 11:38 PM Posted Saturday at 11:38 PM Cool. Another game where the opposing pitcher has thrown fewer pitches through two innings than our guy has thrown in the first. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Saturday at 11:52 PM Posted Saturday at 11:52 PM Dingler might be lucky that the throw hit him. regardless, 1st and 3rd with no outs. c'mon, runs! Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 11:52 PM Posted Saturday at 11:52 PM Dingler singles and Sweeney doubles to open the third. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Saturday at 11:52 PM Posted Saturday at 11:52 PM aaaand Dingler's a dead duck on the contact play. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted Saturday at 11:53 PM Posted Saturday at 11:53 PM Running home from third on contact is the dumbest unwritten rule of baseball. Quote
