Nate7474 Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 Just now, MichiganCardinal said: Eh. The only sequence I thought was really poorly called was the one backed into their own goal line. You have too many playmakers to call back to back runs up the middle. I’ll point out some of what I mean and it could be that I got worn out watching Michigan do the same. I saw very little attacking the middle routes or deep. Lots of sideline to sideline plays not allowing our speed to have much of an impact. Even in the run game I saw mostly attacking between the tackles and rarely running outside. Quote

The story, if any, is 0/3 in the red zone for the Lions, 3/4 for the Packers. If Anzalone holds on to that INT, that's probably a TD. Quote
papalawrence Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 The O line is my biggest concern. GB dominated both lines Quote

They don’t have talent. Ok you’ve lost me here. This is not a bad team. Do they need to improve and improve quickly, absolutely. Is losing to a highly likely playoff team on the road in game one mean it’s over, absolutely not. Quote

The secondary will figure it out. Branch and Kerby, Reed and Arnold (if healthy), they’ll be fine. Ratledge and Mahagony got worn down today. They need to get in NFL shape. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 Why do people quote TP? He needs therapy. 1 1 Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted September 7, 2025 Author Posted September 7, 2025 I need Goff to not get hurt. Dump it off or get pulled for Allen. No sacks right now. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 I love how they are praising the speed and closing ability of Parsons because he chased down the slowest QB in the league. Quote
TP_Fan Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 Anyone with optimism isn’t watching this disaster. This is a lost year. Quote

Jason_R Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 OL got its collective head handed to it today. We thought it might happen and it did. But the offense started slow last season too. Anyway, they better get right next week against Chicago. Quote
holygoat Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 That TeSlaa catch was insane. The sole bright spot of a terrible game. Quote
Jason_R Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 Maybe they could have, you know, tried to throw him the ball. 1 Quote

With a team as talented as the Lions should be, how bad they look and the score doesn’t really matter to me. The stars didn’t forget how to play football they will get it fixed just a matter of how quickly. Quote

Motown Bombers Posted September 7, 2025 Posted September 7, 2025 The issue wasn't the receivers, it was the line. Quote
