lordstanley Posted Sunday at 08:17 PM Posted Sunday at 08:17 PM Lions win. 3rd year in a row they start 1-1. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted Sunday at 08:19 PM Posted Sunday at 08:19 PM I get that the Bears are a bad team yet again this season, but I think most of my concerns were addressed with today's clowning of the Bears. The offensive line looked a lot better today and that was a big relief. 1 Quote
Jason_R Posted Sunday at 08:34 PM Posted Sunday at 08:34 PM @MotownWebGuy it is getting out of hand. Quote
NYLion Posted Sunday at 08:49 PM Posted Sunday at 08:49 PM Well the team, fans and, hell, the city of Detroit needed this. Everybody acting like this was SOL all week was getting tiresome to read. 2 Quote

Hope you all are proud. Total BS on this franchise. This is not the political forum. Don't post political stuff here. 3 Quote

papalawrence Posted Sunday at 08:58 PM Posted Sunday at 08:58 PM Was basically a must win with game 3 in Baltimore. So great to see this today! Quote

I felt this way sort of too because I don't expect us to win next week. It'd be incredible to pull off the upset, but I have no expectation we will. I'm most happy that the offensive line looked better and they got back to their identity and ran the ball. They averaged 5.9 ypc, had 177 total rushing yards, and 2 TDs. The blocking looked more in sync and plays had time to develop today without getting blown up in the backfield or at the line. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted Sunday at 09:24 PM Posted Sunday at 09:24 PM Still think Lamar is going to shred the Lions again. Hopefully the Lions still have a chip on their shoulder over the last time they played. Quote
Shinzaki Posted Sunday at 09:27 PM Posted Sunday at 09:27 PM Lamar? Vastly different and more athletic defense than the last time they faced him. Anticipating a great game Quote

Go 2-2 in these next 4 games and we'll be OK. Burrow hurt his ankle today, I don't know how bad. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Sunday at 10:38 PM Posted Sunday at 10:38 PM What I like now that the Lions are good, it exposes the Bears as the poverty franchise. Before they could say at least they weren't the Lions. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted Sunday at 10:49 PM Posted Sunday at 10:49 PM Looks like it could be no Burrow against the Lions. Quote

I think they can easily go 3-1. Browns are bad, Bengals likely have no Burrow, and the Chiefs aren't looking good. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted Sunday at 11:24 PM Author Posted Sunday at 11:24 PM No politics here please. For everyone. Sports should provide an escape. There are other threads for these (very important) discussions. 2 3 Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted Sunday at 11:46 PM Author Posted Sunday at 11:46 PM I’m super encouraged by the performance today. (Obviously, how could you not be) We are back to last year where the offense leaves you feeling like somehow, someway, there is still meat on the bone after a 52-point performance. Next week should be fun. When this team gets to play loose, with nothing to lose in a game they’re expected to lose, they are a really fun team to watch. Quote
