Deleterious Posted May 23, 2022 Posted May 23, 2022 I have not heard anything about a track in Milford. The proving grounds used to be a race track before GM bought it. And there is a small track in Pontiac near the train station. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 24, 2022 Posted May 24, 2022 Sort of disrespectful they don't address his by his proper title. Future Haas/Williams driver, Daniel Ricciardo. McLaren warn Ricciardo: He's not meeting our expectations Quote

That’s the only place he’s going to see a podium again. Quote
Hongbit Posted May 28, 2022 Author Posted May 28, 2022 Monaco is like the popular song from your favorite band that you liked when you first heard it but has now become your least favorite in the catalog. Quote
Hongbit Posted May 29, 2022 Author Posted May 29, 2022 I still think Charles has too much pace but rain is exactly what everyone else this race needed. Quote
Hongbit Posted May 29, 2022 Author Posted May 29, 2022 Crofty is getting ornery during this delay. Quote

I loved the fake enthusiasm Crofty & Martin tried to build as the top 4 were all within 2 seconds of each other. There is one tiny place to pass on the track and nobody was overtaking anyone. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 10, 2022 Posted June 10, 2022 If you had shown me this graphic without the text I would have bet a lot of money Max had the fastest lap. Pretty crazy how two totally different setups can produce similar results. Quote

Hongbit Posted June 12, 2022 Author Posted June 12, 2022 It’s a shame what’s happening at Ferrari. They have a great car and both guys are driving a super high level. These continued reliability issues are crushing. Quote
Archie Posted June 12, 2022 Posted June 12, 2022 To finish first you must first finish! It will be interesting later in th year when or if the bulls and red cars have to start taking penalties for extra power units. Even if Charlie didn't blow up I think Max had the speed to overtake him but we'll never know. Quote
Archie Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Max took the pole in a wet qualifying session. Alonso starting next to him on the front row. Racing in the rain is a benefit to the best drivers. Since Charlie was starting last because of penalties he only ran a couple laps. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Build a better car ya twat. In my head that is what Binotto said to Toto, but probably not. Quote
Deleterious Posted June 19, 2022 Posted June 19, 2022 Good exposure for F1 in the States today. A 90 minute prerace show on ABC and I believe the race is also on ABC. Quote

Toto want the whole grid penalized because they have a bad design. I heard that McLaren raised their cars last week to stop the porpoising. That's what Merc needs to do if its a problem for them. Somehow in Toto's mind if they need to raise their car everyone else needs to do the same. Not everyone is having the issue. Quote

In my mind Toto made a comment back about how nice it must have been to suck so badly the prior season to throw in the towel and start new development early. Ferrari has taken very good use of this advantage but it appears Merc is starting to figure things out. It looks to be a nice battle for 2nd overall in constructors. Quote
