Other than Carp’s 9th inning homer last Tuesday and Tork’s homer on Saturday, have the Tigers had one big clutch hit in the past 11+ games?

How do they handle the firing of their batting coach with a 3 headed coach system.  Do they all go or is one of them the fall guy?

It is what it is. Can't really fix anything with just a handful of games left. The time to build a roster in in the off-season and then add any needed players at the trade deadline. Hopefully, this isn't our new normal. Starting out next season 5-40 would be pretty horrible.

A new manager would probably bring in a whole new coaching staff. If Harris and Hinch want to blame the hitting coaches, they would probably replace all of them. But...who knows?

Carp hit that 9th inning, game tying home run with 2 outs and the Tigers down a run. In the first of a 3 game series against Cleveland. We then had our closer to get us to the bottom of the 10th tied. He failed and we've lost every game since. Yeah, what coulda been...

That would be great. We need a few more minor league players who are already blocked by an overloaded minor league system who's players are all blocked by players on the MLB roster.

They're not gonna turn Wencel around?    The guy is completely lost at the plate. It won't matter.  He needed to be sent packing a month ago.

The difference is Ibanez can take 3B and McKinstry SS. Can’t put JHen in the infield.

The Tigers have scored more than 2 runs just twice in the past 8 games and with 6 outs to go they haven’t done so tonight.
