RatkoVarda Posted November 3 Posted November 3 (edited) I don't think I would ever see a team hit with injuries like the 2024 Lions, but this Commanders team probably has it even worse Edited November 3 by RatkoVarda Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 3 Author Posted November 3 Same opening spread on this game (-8.5) as both last week's loss to the Vikings and last year's Divisional Round loss to the Commanders. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 Going to be the stoppable force against the movable object on Sunday with the combined injury report. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) So if these players are being held out of practice and possibly won't play on Sunday in a worst case scenario, the Lions starting OL for Sunday could be . . . LT Guy off the practice squad LG Kayode Awosika C Graham Glasgow RG Tate Ratledge RT Guy off the practice squad This does not make me feel confident starting a backup Guard and two guys off the practice squad. Edited November 5 by Mr.TaterSalad Quote
number20 Posted November 5 Posted November 5 If the Lions lose this game, and the Bears and Vikings win... Detroit will be in last place in the division. And yes, this is being said in November Quote

It's very very likely Decker and Sewell play. Decker hasn't practiced on Wednesday all season. And Sewell was working off to the side, (and see MB's post that he feels good and expects to play) Quote

I agree. Morton needs to call plays that gets the ball out really fast on pass plays. Otherwise, Goff will get killed back there. Quote

Shinzaki Posted November 7 Posted November 7 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sharpfootballanalysis.com/stats-nfl/nfl-defensive-tendencies/amp/ Commanders don't blitz as often as the Vikings...although that may change this week Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Must win is a term fans throw around casually and too often. Must win isn't the term I want to use right now, but rather they better win. Washington is limping into this week without their QB and they didn't look that good even when they had him. I'm going to really start to question this team and coaching staff if they lay an egg against Washington. They should go out there, take care of business, win, and go home. Quote
Jason_R Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Oh good it’s Jonathan Vilma on the call. Did he just say “Hayden Hutchinson”? Quote
TP_Fan Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Let’s see if Morton learned anything. Seemed the players and Campbell were calling out Morton’s scheme all week and Morton was saying it’s execution. Definitely not on the same page. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Lions need to win to keep pace with the surging 6-3 Chicago Bears. Quote
holygoat Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Is this the first time they've worn the silver pants this season? Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted November 9 Author Posted November 9 Good start on both sides of the ball. Go up 7 and you’ll be on your way. Quote
