Blaming DSA for affordability crisis is pretty hilarious.    At least you dodged blaming GOP for GOP affordability crisis....

It's not a gotcha. He says he's uniquely qualified because he's a physician. It's why he's an expert on Medicare for All. Also, his appointment as Director of Health of Detroit was likely invalid since he's not a physician. His being a physician is his qualification for being senator since he doesn't have any other qualifications.

He does have the only qualifications that legally matter though, he's over 30, he's a citizen (for at least 9 years), and he's running for a senate seat in a state he resides in.

So El-Genocide's wife is a psychiatrist and doesn't accept Medicare. That's typical for a lot of psychiatrists but not ideal when your only policy is Medicare for All.

If he's taking credit for it, then that is the first legitimate strike against him from you, as the Juvenile jail is far from a success.   That said, Chad Livengood has cited Charlie Leduff before, including his investigation into Whitmer's illegal plane ride during Covid.  Therefore I will completely disregard the complaint and refuse to acknowledge it even was uttered by El Sayed.  You're back to zero legitimate complaints against him, which is kind of crazy considering if you look at his stances alone, he's got handfuls of a positions that are stupid and worth not voting for.

I know you're still butthurt because your hit piece on Benson was totally exposed as bogus, but this article does not cite Charlie LeDuff at all.

But he has cited him before, so he's tainted. He was a peer that begged him to resign due to the 'See you Next Tuesday' thing with Nessel, but still, can't trust him if he's cited someone untrustworthy before.

Also it wasn't a hit piece on Benson, it was a hit piece on ActBlue and raised some very interesting points that still haven't been explained, which if it truly was legitimate, you'd think it would have been easy as Leduff gave the specific name of a person that may have been used to launder money and even talked directly with her.

These are not marginal journalists.  These are pros who just don't buy the Mitch photos.

I've been musing whether the administration is savvy and coordinated enough to leak these photos for the explicit purpose of ferreting out which journalists go after them so they can put them on the list for federal roundup operations TBD. Probably not—that would require a depth of cold and calculating depravity few outside of old-line autocracies like Russia could pull off.

Although I do assume Kara Swisher and Scott Galloway were in the first wave of populating the list anyway.

I'd guess the 'rehab' facility referenced is actually hospice.

It didn't raise any interesting points. Its sole evidence was a 2020 election denier who believed in the Kraken. It was infowars level investigation. Benson received donations from out of state so obviously there is something fishy going on there. That's it? I've donated to several candidates out of state. Also, no other legitimate source has picked it up.

The rehab is a nursing home. I went through this with my father. He fell, went to the hospital, but with his age and dementia, it was apparent he couldn't live at home anymore. Medicare pays up to 100 days of rehab but we all knew he was never leaving. His kidneys eventually went out so he went to the hospital and did hospice there. McConnell has more money so they can put him in a nice facility but he's likely never leaving. He's basically in nursing care.

It was an election denier that found some stuff interesting and Leduff investigated it.  Leduff spoke to a women identified in that crazy guys notes that admitted supporting democratic candidates and when asked if she gave 80k plus, she laughed and said absolutely not.  ActBlue states she did.  Maybe she lied, maybe she was embarrassed, or maybe she told the truth and ActBlue lied.  The fact that the guy that gathered the initial evidence is a bit of a kook doesn't negate that evidence and 'expose the truth'.

Back to the original point though, you are going after El Sayed like he kicked your dog.  I don't even support the guy, but just about every complaint you have is some bull**** campaign style gotcha.  With the exception of that last one, which again, it has an association with Leduff who has an association with an election denier who believes in the Kraken, so i'm not going to accept that one either.
