It's sort of hilarious that a some of these refugees from the governor's race would have gone for the Senate seat in the 1st place but they were all scared off by Mills and the national party's assumed backing of her, If Chuck had stayed home in DC Jackson or Shah or Bellows would probably have been there to give Platner a better challenge in the regular primary process. But that his point who knows if it would have mattered, Platner had a lot of support right through to this last set of accusations. against him. Edited July 20 by gehringer_2 Quote

I agree with GalagaGuy on his comment to you MB regarding to lay off the posts. You aren't changing minds. My life has significantly been better since I realized no one cares a **** about my nuanced political views, even if I'm the one that's right (/just kidding....kinda). I will say you are right on this though, Any moderate democrat is not the same as any republican. GalagaGuy is partially right on this response though. The extremist Muslims and extremist Jews are the same and both are terrorist. To be fair though, there are far more extremist Muslims. As an old school conservative, I don't want Israel to lose support from the United States, but I hope they realize their support is not guaranteed and largely based on their own actions. I wish we had a party that could say that and hold people accountable. I'd vote for them enthusiasctically. Quote

He's supported by Platner, was a former Republican a while ago, was anti abortion, and is now a DSA left winger. He doesn't appear he raped anybody so I guess that's good enough. Quote

I'm sure Collins will go after him on his old abortion stance, but how well can that work when he can point to pro-choice legislation he's put through the state legislature vs Collins's vote for Kavanaugh? Seems like that should be a slam dunk to me, but I'm the guy that doesn't believe the average American voter can reason their way out of a paper bag, Edited July 20 by gehringer_2 Quote
chasfh Posted July 20 Author Posted July 20 (edited) People who are super motivated by single issues of secondary importance and who hammer others over and over with that bore me to tears. Except if it's about Al Avila. I can't get enough of that. 😉 Edited July 20 by chasfh 1 Quote
