papalawrence Posted June 21 Posted June 21 Ryan Kreidler's ops in 35 games is .892. His ops+ is 143. Cody Clemens has 11 HR, ops .785, ops+ 113. His overall war is 1.5. Both are with the Twins. Ina way it's congruent with Detroit's season Quote

Ina way it's congruent with Detroit's season I would imaging hitting probably frustrates an analytics first org like the Tigers a lot, because it's intensely individual- every hitter is a unique population of size one, and methods or techniques developed that worked for one hitter have no better than random chance of working for another. Plus so many guys work with outside hitting coaching that they may not be paying any attention to the team anyway. Edited June 21 by gehringer_2 Quote

Sports_Freak Posted June 23 Posted June 23 WSox SP pulled after 6 innings while throwing a 3-0 shutout. At over 100 pitches. Bullpen comes in and gives up tying runs. Tiger fans can relate. Quote

chasfh Posted June 25 Posted June 25 As far as I can tell, Dansby is only the 11th guy since 1898 to drive in 11 runs in a single day. Quote
