Ryan Kreidler's ops in 35 games is .892. His ops+ is 143. Cody Clemens has 11 HR, ops .785, ops+ 113. His overall war is 1.5. Both are with the Twins. Ina way it's congruent with Detroit's season

I would imaging hitting probably frustrates an analytics first org like the Tigers a lot, because it's intensely individual- every hitter is a unique population of size one, and methods or techniques developed that worked for one hitter have no better than random chance of working for another. Plus so many guys work with outside hitting coaching that they may not be paying any attention to the team anyway.

I watched the 7th inning on. CWS came through in the 9th to walk it off on a close play. Tigers now 6.5 games out in the Central

Yeah, I saw it. I figured Chicago was folding like a cheap suit...but they came back. Its nice to watch Cleveland lose. 😆
