This MLB app works so much better than the clunky FanDuel app. I really hope this is how we get to watch baseball this summer. FF and RW works perfectly.

I caught the last part of the MLB app broadcast and Jason mentioned they would have Dirks, Petry, Daniella, Logan and one other non-game person-can’t recall whom, for future broadcasts-maybe that was Spring only, but I don’t think so.

Just got home and I’m watching the archived play of today’s game and the announcers so far are Jason and Peaches. On the radio it’s Dan and it is really really poorly synced with the TV picture this time instead of being behind the action on the TV the radio feed is two or three seconds ahead. Not sure who is with Dan in the radio booth because it’s too frustrating to give a damn. While I was composing this information about Daniella and Dirks being back was given above so that’s good news.

Agreed. Dirks was pretty good last season, a bit of a homer but a whole lot of fun. And Danielle is good to have around in case it rains. 😅😅

I like Dirks on radio with Dan. I don’t like him on tv so much because he tends to amp up Benetti, who definitely needs no help amping up. It’s like they’re trying to one-up each other.

Yeah, this is true. There has to be a designated driver sometimes.

I tend to mute the game when Dirks is on with Benetti.

Today’s March 2 game against Atlanta in Lakeland with Valdez pitching is on ESPN.  There’s a WXYT AM radio feed available locally and on mlb.com but it’s not linked to the ESPN feed.

Yes, the ESPN announcer said the infielders will have to play in a little more than they might otherwise with Valdez on the mound.
