IdahoBert Posted Sunday at 06:58 PM Posted Sunday at 06:58 PM Spencer Torkelson singles on a line drive to left fielder Jonatan Clase. Gleyber Torres scores. Riley Greene to 3rd. 2-2 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM Posted Sunday at 07:29 PM This MLB app works so much better than the clunky FanDuel app. I really hope this is how we get to watch baseball this summer. FF and RW works perfectly. 1 Quote
Tigermojo Posted Sunday at 07:55 PM Posted Sunday at 07:55 PM Did they mention anything about the broadcast crew? Everyone coming back? Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted Sunday at 09:39 PM Posted Sunday at 09:39 PM I caught the last part of the MLB app broadcast and Jason mentioned they would have Dirks, Petry, Daniella, Logan and one other non-game person-can’t recall whom, for future broadcasts-maybe that was Spring only, but I don’t think so. 1 1 Quote

Just got home and I’m watching the archived play of today’s game and the announcers so far are Jason and Peaches. On the radio it’s Dan and it is really really poorly synced with the TV picture this time instead of being behind the action on the TV the radio feed is two or three seconds ahead. Not sure who is with Dan in the radio booth because it’s too frustrating to give a damn. While I was composing this information about Daniella and Dirks being back was given above so that’s good news. Quote

And Danielle is good to have around in case it rains. 😅😅 Quote
chasfh Posted yesterday at 12:10 PM Posted yesterday at 12:10 PM I like Dirks on radio with Dan. I don’t like him on tv so much because he tends to amp up Benetti, who definitely needs no help amping up. It’s like they’re trying to one-up each other. Quote

There has to be a designated driver sometimes. 1 Quote

I tend to mute the game when Dirks is on with Benetti. Quote
IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 06:10 PM Posted yesterday at 06:10 PM Today’s March 2 game against Atlanta in Lakeland with Valdez pitching is on ESPN. There’s a WXYT AM radio feed available locally and on mlb.com but it’s not linked to the ESPN feed. Quote
Tigermojo Posted yesterday at 06:21 PM Posted yesterday at 06:21 PM Gonna need a designated infield for Valdez starts. Have to turn those grounders into outs. Quote

Yes, the ESPN announcer said the infielders will have to play in a little more than they might otherwise with Valdez on the mound. Quote
IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 06:39 PM Posted yesterday at 06:39 PM Framber Ks the the side in the 2nd. Quote

CMRivdogs Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM Posted yesterday at 07:36 PM I turn on the game just as Kiersey homers, sorry Quote

IdahoBert Posted yesterday at 08:31 PM Posted yesterday at 08:31 PM Spring training right now is getting boring. With so many of the players leaving for WBC and with a lot of the guys in the lineup instead who are people I’ve never heard of, these games are Dullsville for a moran like me. Sending out Madden tomorrow to face the Dominican team of Soto, Machado, and Guerrero Jr. et all will be a real massacre. I’ll probably take some days off here. Quote
