They both go deep into games and rest the bullpen. It only makes sense to have Mize or Flaherty between them. I bet it's Jack. Jason said during last night's game that some teams moved their start time up because of the cold. Sounds like a better idea than having April night games in northern climates. IdahoBert Posted Tuesday at 09:10 PM Posted Tuesday at 09:10 PM At game time it’s supposed to be about 44° and it’s supposed to feel like 44° allegedly - at least according to my Yahoo Weather app - so it’s virtually a heat wave compared to last night. Sweeeet! Quote
chasfh Posted Tuesday at 10:35 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:35 PM Fun fact: as much as the Tigers are sucking eggs right in front of our very eyes, they are still the only team in the Central with a positive run differential. Quote

IdahoBert Posted Tuesday at 11:43 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:43 PM Colt Keith struck out on three straight pitches to lead off. I give up. Quote
IdahoBert Posted Tuesday at 11:44 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:44 PM Crappy umpire calls Kevin out on a pitch 2 inches below the strike zone Quote
IdahoBert Posted Tuesday at 11:46 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:46 PM Gosh, the tigers are constantly hitting the ball directly to centerfield just short of doing any damage. I’ve seen it repeatedly so far this year, and maybe I just remember it because it bugs me, but it seems more than usual. Quote

IdahoBert Posted Wednesday at 12:30 AM Posted Wednesday at 12:30 AM You’d think people in Minnesota would be used to the cold. 40° isn’t that bad even for baseball, but I’m still surprised the stands are so empty. It’s not like everybody has to bring an unswaddled baby with them or anything. Quote

Didn't someone post a survey that Twins fans were the most pessimistic fans in the division about their team? Edited Wednesday at 12:45 AM by gehringer_2 Quote
