2 - 8  last 10. That really hurts. Some life late tonight at least. I think a roster reset might occur sooner than expected. Long long way to go so “stay calm and carry on “ still applies.

Agree and he can even play the field and run a little bit. But Hinch might give him little more rope..9 AB's isn't many.

I think we are at the two-alarm fire stage.

Team is just one run below average run production and a bit above average in Ks. On the other side the pitching has been slightly below league average in almost all categories, including  K's.

But their numbers are not as bad as their results. Pythag puts them at 500.

I mean, is Perez really going to vault the team to the top?  Don't get me wrong, he has value but if Torkelson, Greene, Carpenter and the core continues to suck, a 4th outfielder isn't going to make much difference.

Not so much of a vault as a shake up.   Change the status quo.  Perform or visit Tony Packos

I don't think that is Harris's or Hinch's style.  They seem to prepare for the long-term and don't make moves to send messages.  They will try to put the best baseball team on the field every night for baseball reasons.

It doesn't shake anything up.  You would just be turning over the last roster spot which won't make much difference.

The season is tied to Greene, Torkelson, and Carpenter.  The Tigers are going to fail or succeed based on how those guys perform. They have no one to replace them with in the minors and if they all continue to suck, they end up in last place.

If the Tigers continue like this for the next 20 games or so, the natives will be calling for Harris’ head.

The last 3 years I have been critical of his roster construction.  Harris has been pretty awful with his FA signings.  He hasn't signed a mlb bat other than Torres.  The offense was awful the last half of last season and he did nothing to change it.

I'm not saying fire him but maybe he could do something to help the team score runs?  It's too late to do anything of note this season so his plan once again is just hoping everything works out for the best
