Well, it’s disappointing to get only one run with the bases loaded and no outs. If the tigers hadn’t already given up three runs, it wouldn’t be quite as disappointing, but in that context it is.

Deer had his best season as a Tiger.  He hit much better than average in Tiger Stadium.  He truly did play in the wrong time period, although I personally don’t like high strikeout hitters.
