Stanley70 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago They had Rayshaun Benny in, he might be the pick here. Wouldn't mind Kyle Louis though. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago I'd be cool with a RB like Mike Washington Jr. from Arkansas here. Quote

Stanley70 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Wrong Michigan guy, Jimmy Rolder. Hope he can cover. Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Another Michigan kid with LB Jimmy Rolder. Another high RAS score. MGoLions! MGoBrad! Quote

I know that was hard to admit that I was right but that’s great growth on your part. You have my respect for that. Quote

buddha Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago The lions went cheap on scouting budget this year. only had to pay to send guys to ann arbor. Quote
CMRivdogs Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago So they've drafted two Michigan guys and a guy who grew up a couple hours away from Detroit. (Cleveland suburbs, but given the options...) I think I sense a pattern Quote

Stanley70 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Rolder has a lengthy injury history so he checked that box. Quote

Jason_R Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Well, we didn't have any guys named Jimmy on the team, so good job Brad on filling that need. Quote

Jason_R Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Rolder’s instincts and run-game consistency make it hard to believe he was only a one-year starter in college. He plays low and leveraged with violent hands to shock and slip off blocks. He finds the best routes to the run gap and maneuvers around traffic with efficiency to tighten angles to the ball-carrier. He plays with good awareness and change of direction in space but has average pursuit speed and coverage talent. Few linebackers in this draft finish tackles with the technique and consistency he displays. If you trust the tape and ignore his lack of experience, Rolder profiles as a future starting inside linebacker. BY LANCE ZIERLEIN NFL Analyst Quote

All I can remember about that draft is that when the Lions drafted him, the talking heads didn't say a word about him. Because nobody knew anything about him. Scenario: Bill Belichick called Bob Quinn to catch up and casually mentioned how high the Patriots were on this kid from Hawaii nobody heard of. Bob, I think we're really gonna take this kid, if he's available. Bob listened. Quote
NYLion Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago 49 minutes ago, Hongbit said: Yes, they probably should’ve let McNeil walk. They definitely shouldn’t have extended him when they did. Philly continues to make major improvements every year and focus mainly on how they can get to a Super Bowl right now rather than worrying about the future. It very well may bite them in the ass in 5 years but they are likely to have even more NFC championships by then. What? That's some serious hindsight right here. Alim was trending to be a top 5 defensive tackle just entering his prime, how could the Lions staff have possibly known that he would get seriously injured? I guarantee that you weren't saying at the time that they shouldn't extend him. Philly isn't improving, they're replacing guys they lost. Quote

Personal growth is much like many of Brad’s contract moves. Looks positive at first but then takes a few steps back with the hope that it can return forward sometime in the future. I am still cheering for you to get to that point where you can admit that opposing views can be correct too. Quote

Getting the right result at the end is what matters regardless of how it looked at the time the move was made. We spend too much time judging guys on moves that seemed right at the time versus what the result turned out to be. This **** isn’t easy. They are going to make mistakes along the way. It’s not an insult to call them out when they do. Quote
Motown Bombers Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago The Eagles didn't get it right with Greenard. Sweat was better, cheaper and didn't cost draft picks. Quote
Jason_R Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Yes, Brad should have known McNeil would tear his ACL. It is our job as fans to call him out on his failures to predict the future. Quote
GalagaGuy Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago This is hilarious. The dog saw an opening and didn't hesitate. 1 Quote
