So I don’t have access unless someone else logs into my tv. However, I can watch the dodgers on FOX broadcast just fine via mlb.tv. I’m watching McGreevy pitch to pages right now. They did away with the weird Fox national blackout thing for the game being shown outside of your market. So the Tigers should be available to you via mlb.tv. It was before I left for a concert. Thx!🙂 Quote
casimir Posted May 3 Author Posted May 3 Hats off to Montero. He really loaded up on first pitch strikes. I’d have let him finish off this inning, but I’m a lump on a couch. What do I know.? Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 3 Posted May 3 If everyone gets healthy again there is no way that Montero should be out of the rotation. Flaherty or Verlander will have to take a back seat. He's earned it now. But the chances of having 6 healthy starters at any point this season is slim. Quote

Does Vanasco close this one? 28 K's in 15 IP at Toledo If they are going to KJ, I feel like 4 runs is not enough. Quote
Motor City Sonics Posted May 3 Posted May 3 When they show Jake Burger's name on the screen all I can think of is Homer Simpson saying "ummmm, Burger" 1 Quote
Sports_Freak Posted May 3 Posted May 3 0-2 on Berger and I was chanting...waste a pitch. Drew didn't...he struck 'em out!! Quote

Great problem to have. Quote

Motor City Sonics Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Great, now win this series tomorrow, The Pistons can come from behind and win their series and the Red Wings ca............oh yeah, well go Tigers and Pistons ! Quote
Screwball Posted May 3 Posted May 3 If you are old enough to remember nights like this when it's cold, and using a wooden bat, you almost don't want to hit a ball. If you get it on the screws, you are fine, but if you don't your hands get punished. It really hurts. I said almost. 🙂 Quote

TJ procedure has evolved into two somewhat different surgeries depending on the exact conditions. The STD full transplant procedure and a newer less traumatic one. IIRC (but I really am not sure at all) I thought it was reported that Jobe underwent the 'modern' technique - so in theory he may have an easier recovery, but I don't know if enough of the newer procedure are in the books for there to be a lot of data. Tenacious D Posted May 3 Posted May 3 Unless the bullpen continues to be a problem, I think a healthy Melton will be a starter in Toledo as insurance, filling Montero’s old role. Quote
