Tenacious D Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Just go all in for the tank now? Wouldn’t take much effort. Quote

Outside of signing Valdez and drafting McGonigle, he has done absolutely nothing to improve the roster since he was hired. Quote

IdahoBert Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This team is snake bit. If they’d had a 3-1 lead, Finnegan would’ve probably given up two runs in the bottom of the ninth anyway and we would’ve still lost in extra innings. Quote
monkeytargets39 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Now AJ will never call for a bunt again. 1 Quote
Hongbit Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago How in the world did this bullpen get so insanely bad so quickly. Quote

I think he is liked because Avila was bad and because Harris is their first real analytical GM. I definitely like that they have moved in that direction. However, I am not sure whether he is a cooker cutter analytic GM or whether he will prove to be one of the good ones. Quote
Tigermojo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Might want to just start trading guys who still have four limbs before the leprosy outbreak in the clubhouse. Quote

papalawrence Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I'm beyond frustrated and almost fully apathetic. But the injuries matter. As talented as Atlanta has been, they've missed the playoffs due to injuries. They're healthy now and maybe the best team in baseball. If reasonable healthy this is probably an 84 win team. It is snake bitten. The baseball gods are evening things out because they over performed the last 2 years Edited 2 hours ago by papalawrence Quote

Tiger337 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago According to baseruns (the # of runs a team should have scored/allowed based on H, BB, HR, etc), the Tigers should have scored 4.05 runs per game and allowed 4.09. That would be a 28-29 record. Bad sequencing on both sides of the ball. https://www.fangraphs.com/standings/pythagorean-baseruns Quote

I think it suggests they have had poor situational hitting and pitching...which most of us have noticed. I don't expect any changes for now. They are kind of stuck until they get healthy.
