NorthWoods Posted Wednesday at 07:11 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:11 PM Win 25 in a row, trade Skubal for a haul anyway. Quote

A young and inexperienced pitcher making only his 3rd start of 2026? Pretty impressive, he retired the last 17 hitters. Some people say you need to get to the good pitchers early in the game because once they settle in, they're gonna beat you. Quote
guy incognito Posted Wednesday at 07:27 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:27 PM Took a while to get the brooms out of storage. Well done, boys. Quote
Sports_Freak Posted Wednesday at 07:32 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:32 PM So...can we cancel the day off? Quote
romad1 Posted Wednesday at 07:33 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:33 PM I like the direction this team is heading. 1 Quote
GalagaGuy Posted Wednesday at 07:40 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:40 PM Fire Hinch! We still doing this? 🤔 Quote
Tenacious D Posted Wednesday at 07:48 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:48 PM Rotation has been good as advertised, just with a bunch of other guys. All this team does is win. We’ve gone from ****ty Tigs to Gritty Tigs in 3 days! Quote
Tenacious D Posted Wednesday at 09:35 PM Posted Wednesday at 09:35 PM Nice to save the pen, after the first game in the series. Vest, Holton, Finnegan all with three days rest. Hopefully that helps against the M’s and Big Dump. Quote
Crazy Cat Gentleman Posted Thursday at 01:33 AM Posted Thursday at 01:33 AM another pretty great game. Melton killed it, both the catchers killed it, even if one wasn't catching. speaking of which, I don't pay much attention to the league as a whole, really just the Tigers. what kind of competition does Dingler have when it comes to starting the All-Star Game? Dingler and Langeliers are the top catchers. Langeliers is the better hitter, so fans might vote for him. 1 Quote
Dan Gilmore Posted Thursday at 02:20 AM Posted Thursday at 02:20 AM I appreciate that getting All-Star recognition is cool, but I kind of wish the team sent few players, if any. Get rested, heal any minor injuries. I think Dingler and Greene have had seasons (so far) to warrant inclusion, and it would be awesome for McGonigle to go as a rookie, but with all the injuries this year-Stay home for a few days. Quote

That’s a lot of guys with a lot of rest. Hinch might give Valdez a short leash on Friday so he can give a bunch of guys some trigger time. Quote
