monkeytargets39 Posted Saturday at 06:10 PM Posted Saturday at 06:10 PM Inexcusable to not get a leadoff triple in. Perez blows our challenge on an obvious strike too. Quote
RedRamage Posted Saturday at 06:11 PM Posted Saturday at 06:11 PM Can we go back to playing the Rays please? Quote
chasfh Posted Saturday at 06:14 PM Posted Saturday at 06:14 PM Keider is giving up loud contact. Quote

monkeytargets39 Posted Saturday at 06:58 PM Posted Saturday at 06:58 PM Could’ve challenged that if you didn’t waste a challenge earlier Quote
IdahoBert Posted Saturday at 07:02 PM Posted Saturday at 07:02 PM I went out to run errands and came back and heck I didn’t realize we’d only managed one hit. Quote

Sports_Freak Posted Saturday at 07:39 PM Posted Saturday at 07:39 PM I'm not sure who this home plate umpire is but he makes an excellent case for robot umpires. He's called at least 8 outside pitches, strikes. Just horrible. Quote

romad1 Posted Saturday at 11:59 PM Posted Saturday at 11:59 PM This Naylor thing is all over the socials. He needs to be our Claude Lemeux? Quote
NorthWoods Posted Sunday at 11:12 AM Posted Sunday at 11:12 AM Keith had it exactly right. You love him on your team and hate him on the opposition. The Tigers and the Red Wings need a few such players. It takes more than nice guys to win. Quote

The .227 BABIP and 7.6% HR/FB rate confirm. Quote

I liked Naylor's reaction. I don't know if it would help the Tigers win more, but I would like to see a few Tigers with some personality. Quote

You certainly could make the argument though I think the counter would be that he hit him right where he wanted to. Adding up the play at 1st endangering our great rookie McGonigle, the unexpected slide at 2nd base and Torres and the sliding glove throw at Dingler I think the Tigers had simply had enough of his antics. Let's see - McGonigle, Torres, Dingler.....the source of the Tigers offense all mysteriously targeted by Naylor. Quote

Seems like that should be a rule just like throwing a fielding glove at a player or ball is an out. Quote
