The comeback that occurs in the eighth and ninth innings of this game will be something will be talking about for years. It’ll be a bonding experience. It will be a sociological event we’ll all recall fondly.

If I were in "MLB: The Show" I'd stop the sim, trade teams and force the Twins to intentionally walk the Tigers until they had overcome the deficit.

The Twins are trying to but the Tigers keep swinging. 😆😆

I’d be surprised if it were one strike and you’re out for Drew Sommers. He’s sticking around for a bit still.

Because he's a lefty? His other outings were pretty good. But who goes down when Mize and Skubal activated.

Being left-handed should help his case.

Brieske was an important part of our bullpen in the past but those days are over. Him and Sommers to Toledo when Skubal and Mize activated?

Is there room in the car for Hanifee?

Ty Madden down to Toledo to keep him stretched out? We need to open 2 spots...that could be one. And I kinda agree with Chas...Sommers may stick. So, IDK who they will send down, it may come down to who has options left.

They all have options, exception Anderson and Finnegan, so it’s probably going to be needs- and performance-based. I would guess Brieske and Hanifee.

I agree it should be those guys. But they are Hinch's favorites...I could see Madden getting sent down to keep him stretched out. But, we'll see. I imagine we need Sommers as a LH option going into Cleveland.

Thank God, they found an excuse to bring Jones in. Who knows maybe he’s due.

Jones is 1 for his last 34 PA with 6 BB, 7K and a 048 BaBIP. He has racked up -0.9 WAR in only 88 PA

Brieske and Hanifee have had some success in the past. I doubt they are favorites currently.

So did Verlander. But all of these guys success were in the past. We need arms that will help us win now. Brieske is back from injury, send him down until he's effective. I dont think he's had a clean outing yet. Last night he got very lucky on a couple of defensive plays. He just hasn't looked sharp.

Edit; looking at Brieske's WHIP? 3.00 lol

They aren't on the team because they are favorites of Hinch.  They are on the team because they have no other options.

Hanifee is effective at times. Its the inconsistency that is a head scratcher. I think he'll probably stick but who goes down? De Jesus? Sommers? I still think they may send Madden down to stretch him out.
