Should be Ballys and whatever their overflow channel is Ballys+ (?) but if you are not in the blackout area then ESPN+ is your place (if you use a vpn than ESPN+ can always be your place). We could talk not in public about other methods if needed 😉 1 Quote

Four more preseason games between tonight and Saturday before the season opener hosting Tampa on the 14th. Not sure about TV for the rest of the pre-season, but NHL Centre Ice is still in free preview mode so I just voice search "Detroit Red Wings" and it pops up somewhere on my TV. slothfacekilla Posted October 4, 2021 Author Posted October 4, 2021 Ah alright definitely missed that quote thanks @gehringer_2 I thought I saw that he was cleared to play somewhere so I was surprised to see he wasn't dressing but I may have misread. Quote
buddha Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 espn+ is the place to be. all the games and the picture is really nice. Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 No clue what happened but the Wings went down 3-0 really quickly tonight, sheesh Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 Seider from Zadina on the power play! Ryan scored on the pp as well, Raymand got an assist on that one Quote
1984Echoes Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Looks like Leddy & Seider fell down on this one... Growing pains. Going to happen this year for Seider as he acclimates to the NHL... Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 Even though some of this game is ugly man this power play looks SO much better. Thank you Alex Tanguay. Quote
buddha Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 4-4!!! lucas raymond needs to be on this team. 1 Quote
Tigerbomb13 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Lucas Raymond is putting in a show. I’m excited to watch him. Quote
gehringer_2 Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Ugly turnover by a D-guy I've heard of (and probably won't again) to put the Wings down 5-4 Quote
1984Echoes Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Donovan Sebrango? I think the team is actually a bit high on his potential... Doesn't mean anything. I'm just sayin'... Quote
slothfacekilla Posted October 5, 2021 Author Posted October 5, 2021 I thought Sebrango looked decent in the prospect torunament and he stood up and fought when the goons were taking runs at people. Interested to see how he develops as a bottom pairing guy. Quote

Lucky you. Not in Vancouver until March, and Seattle a couple of nights later. I always liked a November game @Canucks, get a fresh look the new season in person. Quote
1984Echoes Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 'Tuzz looks rusty as heck out there... But the kids look great! Fast, all over the ice, controlling the puck, stealing the puck... they spent about 75% of the time in the 1st in the O-zone... very little time in Detroit's zone. Love that especially... Veleno and Raymond look like they need to stay in Detroit this year... Quote
buddha Posted October 8, 2021 Posted October 8, 2021 veleno with the winner! seider with tons of ice time. looks very physical. always good to beat the pens, even if cindy wasnt playing. 1 Quote
1984Echoes Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 I don't think the Red Wings are going to start Veleno and Raymond in the NHL. But I think they should from what I've seen. I don't think I will be that upset about it though, if that's how they play it... Give them all the ice time they can handle in Grand Rapids, all phases. Trade some veterans at the deadline for whatever we can get, and then bring them up for good afterwards. I think Veleno can Center the 2nd or 3rd line, and Raymond can Wing any of the top 3 lines. And I don't speak 3rd line out of low expectations... I think if these two were on the 3rd line with Suter just for example, the 3rd line becomes an extremely dangerous scoring line rivaling the 2nd line (with Fabbri, Ryan, Namestnikov... for example). Plus PP and PK time if they warrant that... Might be enough for their rookie year... Quote
1984Echoes Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Plus Vrana might be back by then. I like a Raymond-Veleno-Vrana line better than with Suter.... and that might actually become our 2nd line, pushing Fabbri-Namest-Ryan down a notch... Quote
