I'm seeing there 's a No Kings Day rally at the County Courthouse Saturday. Several retired military brass will be on hand to speak.

Speaking as someone who’s on the same side here, Terry Moran’s tweet was well out of bounds, and his journalistic integrity and objectivity could be fairly questioned in the aftermath. ABC could not afford to keep him around after that. It’s just a shame he couldn’t restrain himself, because who knows what kind of character he’s going to be replaced with.

Politico is not part of the mainstream media dedicated to speaking truth to power. Their mission is to report specifically on the mechanics of the political aspect of government, mainly Washington, and they can’t afford to risk losing sources in this particular government by being some sort of diogenean truth-teller. Which is fine, I guess—there’s room in the media landscape for all kinds of players, and it’s up to us to disparage those we hate or that are craven liars.

I witnessed a couple P-51 Mustangs and my son said what looked like they were escorting a B-25 Mitchell.  If it were any other event I would have thought it was cool.  But, we know it was for the vanity of the anti-Christ.

maybe I missed it but one thing I didn't see in the WaPo story was a crowd size estimate......

TBF, the coverage on DC parade was below the coverage of the protests and both were below the ME news.

context.  The stands were not filled and the crowds did not match expectations.  America knew this was a Trump birthday party and a show of force by the regime which appropriated US troops and cost $45m.  Meanwhile, much more sizable crowds turned out to protest Trump in all 50 states.
