  1. Past hour
  2. Not funny this; Cooper Standard in Bowling Green to close facility, nearly 200 jobs affected I think Cooper tire division was bought out by Goodyear a few years ago. They have a plant and mold shop (on the other side of town) in Findlay. So apparently Goodyear didn't buy that plant. Another NW Ohio company shuttering the doors. We have two other plants (not related) closing here in Cornhole. Not good. Related; If you look at the WHR stock price in the last 3 months - not pretty. They even suspended their dividend. Forward guidance not good. Many of these small places supply the appliance and auto companies. **** runs down hill. We have 3 large WHR plants within a few hours. The real barometer; the **** hole bar hasn't been near as busy. I see the after work crowd at 3:30. They live paycheck to paycheck. Their getting pinched. Gas around $4.65 here. Then there is food...
  3. Once again, playing well but shooting ourselves in the foot with turnovers and missed layups. Seems to be our thing.
  4. Thompson hit Duren with a nice drop off at the rim and Duren dribbled it for some reason
  5. Why does this team pass the ball worse than Chris Webber trapped in a corner?
  6. Nice pedos, gas prices, inflation, and also wars.
  7. I appreciate Daniss pricing me wrong on the first play lol.
  8. I would’ve started Green or Holland instead. It’s not like Daniss is lighting it up from three. Or better yet, go big and start Reed next to Duren.
  9. That’s kind of you. Thank you.
  10. Ku has reported a coupe times now that he has inside knowledge that Stew is definitely not 100%. I’m sure Stew wants to play and will say he’s healthy, but we can all see he hasn’t been healthy since that 8 block game.
  11. I never thought I’d miss Torres defense.
  12. Amply demonstrated this inning. 😵‍💫
  13. Yesterday
  14. The Bultman article has some comps, including the one I posted earlier. I still think the floor is Cossa’s own draft position, #15 overall. But he could easily be part of a trade for a top-tier player. there is some recent precedent for highly drafted goalies getting traded — although none of their situations was exactly analogous to Cossa’s. Two years ago, the Nashville Predators traded 2020 first-round pick Yaroslav Askarov to the San Jose Sharks after two AHL seasons with very comparable numbers to Cossa’s. In return, they got prospect David Edstrom (who had been a 2023 first-round pick) and a 2025 first-round pick. Last season, the Florida Panthers traded 2019 first-rounder Spencer Knight and a first-round pick to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for Seth Jones and a 2026 fourth. And in 2021, the Florida Panthers traded goalie prospect Devon Levi (a seventh-round pick but who had starred at the World Juniors) and a first-round pick to the Buffalo Sabres for Sam Reinhart.
  15. Every time I read your posts they sound just like this guy.
  16. I wouldn't give two ****s on what some Fed ****wad has to say. They have been an abysmal failure since the creature of Jekyll Island. Their not going to fix ****. Markets are at almost all time highs. Saw a headline today somebody says S&P to 8000. Giddy up! It's really this simple; all we have to watch for is when demand destruction takes over. As most of us believe the numbers are bull****, they also tell a tale when you look at them rationally. They are not good. Many indicator's show this. Not difficult. The global supply chain has been broken - bad. Not only energy related. As they say about oil prices, and it holds true for all prices - the solution to high prices is high prices. We haven't felt the pain - yet - ****'s about to get real. There's your Debbie Downer for the day.
  17. It’s as if they think he’s abiding by the norms.
  18. Yes, it seems clear they were using each other to support the Patriots. It is one thing to deflate footballs or to spy on a practice, it is totally different to have an “NFL Insider”™️ put out stories that advance your team’s interests. Kraft may have to sacrifice Vrabel to avoid a major problem with the other owners.
  19. COACH HOT SEAT RANKINGS. Pre-Preseason edition. 1. Aaron Glenn, Jets. I hate to rank him #1 because I like him and I think he deserves 3 years no matter what, inheriting that disaster, but patience is not a thing in the NFL these days and the Jets are are moronic organization. Robert Saleh should have never been fired. 2. Zac Taylor, Bengals. They had that nice run a few years ago, but Burrow can't stay healthy and he's Mr. Everything to them. 3. Shane Steichen, Colts. That collapose last year was brutal. They were in the driver's seat at 7-1 and finished 8-9. Any Lions fan around here over the age of 35 knows how that feels. And it wasn't just Indiana Jones' injury. 4. Kevin O'Connell, Vikings. There are expectations here. I don't think Kyler Murray will help him 5. Todd Bowles, Buccanneers. Not a great coach, not a bad coach, but the Buccs may just need a fresh perspective. Anyone of the four teams in the NFC South could win it, including the Saints who may have found their next QB 6. Klint Kubiak, Raiders. Any coach on the Raiders automatically goes on this list. I think Tom Brady will be the Head Coach within 3 years. He's going to let Kubiak take the bullets for Mendoza's rookieness. Dan Campbell is nowhere near this list right now.
  20. What’s the point of McKinstry if his defense isn’t going to be good?
  21. Don’t give up ! We need you !!
  22. There are also 57 "the left is terrible" threads most of this last few pages could have went in if the thread police are blindfloded like lady justice
  23. I might but the SCOTUS gave him immunity so,
  24. I don't know, Russini has a lot of insider contacts. Was she feeding him insider info about rivals? Was she trying to manipulate free agents in favor of the Patriots with her insider sources? I don't think the affair would matter if it was with a random woman vs the press.
