I'm glad they decided to at least give it to the big tech firms. Those guys have never done anything to **** over society. Claude Mythos Is Everyone’s Problem -
Stole this from someone on hfboards: The only players since the award was first given out in 1981 to win it and to have been 19 or younger when the NCAA season started are; Paul Kariya (17) Jack Eichel (17) Caleb Makar (19) Cole Caufield (19) Adam Fantilli (17) Macklin Celebrini (17) Max turned 20 during this season. Pretty cool!

maybe our view issn't so different - what makes secondary stuff good? Part if it is being able to throw it for strikes so batters can't spit on it. In that sense, on a given night, better command == better secondary stuff -
If Platner stays in his race, so should Swalwell.

I think most of the stuff coming out of his account was written by somebody else.

Max Plante has won the Hobey Baker. Have the Wings ever had a prospect win this? None from the list of winners jumps out me as Red Wings, but I only recognize half the names. https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/awards/awarddetail.php?award_id=126

Clark's sample is up to >50PA still small but getting significant, great BB/K ratio, great OBP. The only knock of any kind is 50 PA without a HR - which is also true of Torkelson and Greene right now....🤔

I just realized the NBA doesn't play any games on Saturday and finishes the season with all 30 teams playing on Sunday. Seems that maybe the NHL was trying to take advantage of having Saturday to itself but I still don't see why you don't have at least a couple games tonight.

So far so good. I like how he's starting out this year. -

I always thought his secondary stuff was weak. Two nasty pitches (sinker/ slider) working and he dominates. Yes, good command needed too obviously. When I watched him last year, if EITHER the command was off or one of his two "nasties" wasn't working he gave up too many walks (command) or hits (bad secondary stuff). That's why I am so interested in whether he develops a third pitch (Bondo's CHANGEUP!!!). I think if Montero develops his secondary pitches more... he's a better pitcher. More unhittable (if one of the two "nasties" isn't working) as he'll have other ways to keep hitters off balance. Better command and he'll be more consistent. I want both. Just my 2 cents. -
These allegations against Congressman Eric Swalwell of sexual misconduct and the rape of a women who was his former staffer are very serious and very ugly. I do believe women when they say they were sexually harassed, assaulted, or raped. I believe women have benevolent silenced and abused by our justice system not believing them. I also believe in the fundamentalist right of innocent, until proven guilty. Eric Swalwell deserves his day in court and a fair, speedy trial as anyone would get. That said, given the nature of these sexual assault allegations and the numerous allegations of sexual misconduct made against him, I hope he drops out of the California Governor's race and leaves Congress. The guy looks like a real, womanizing, scumbag and piece of ****.

The short stroke is really working for Keith and he's even getting good EVs. Be nice to see him turn into the hitter he promised he might be in the minors. -
No way Trump wrote that.

Kieder's stuff is good enough when he has the command to stay ahead. He did that tonight. -
-
I'd prefer him as a backup. Draft Freeling please Brad.

He would be a usable #5 SP. A 4.00 to 4.50 ERA. We'll see what JV can give us, I'm sure he's going to get several starts to prove he can still be effective. But Flaherty? Totally inconsistent. Not even a good BP arm....or maybe just long relief?
