On the topic of broadcast markets, it still blows my mind that Windsor, Ontario is considered Blue Jays market. Windsor is significantly closer to Comerica Park than most suburbs of Detroit, let alone the rest of Michigan. Yet we are supposed to be Blue Jays fans due to the international border. But I'll tell you what really pisses me off, are all these games that are blacked out because they are on some streaming service. AppleTV for example. So generally we are expected to have subscriptions to half a dozen different streaming services (in addition to MLB.tv) to watch the Tigers?! Maybe that's the norm in certain households, but definitely not mine. I just don't watch that much TV to justify subscriptions to Netflix, AppleTV, Peacock, etc. Yet there are baseball games scattered on these services which causes a blackout on mlb.tv?! That pisses me off! End of rant.

Any gas stations near airport car rental returns will be higher than anywhere else. That said looking at Gas Buddy near me are running about $4.20 a gallon. That's the mainstream WAWA and Harris Teeter stations, it's a dime more out my way by theb interstate

The weak Democrats are the younger ones. This age thing started on the right and Dems caved and bought into it and threw their most progressive president in decades under the buss.

I assumed it was but republicans always use that one gas station in California so I’ll allow it.

Not that it changes his point, but that gas station is near the airport is notorious for being $1 more than nearby stations.

Since age matters and experience doesn’t anymore, go with Angela Alsobrooks as leader. She’s a black woman which is the foundation of the party and she’s from a safe blue state.

“Age” is an excuse like “the internet” is a reason Toys R Us went out of business. What really happened is crappy business practices. Even if it isn't strictly age, voters in 2026 expect candidates who want to fight. And the want candidates whose heart is truly in the effort. That just wasn't Janet Mills, at least from my far off vantagepoint of the campaign. Again, have all the same reservations about Platner that many do, but it's just not surprising to me that it played out this way.

I was sitting here in Dulles Airport looking up at the state flags…Michigan has a very complex one with a lot of heraldry embedded. Why would anyone be motivated to change it? As i see some GOP reps were trying to do. Is it the Union Blue?
