How often do teams set a 5 man rotation in spring training and it play out that way during the season.

I was as vocal as anyone about Holland doing a poor job of finding RH shots to balance the team, but yeah - there is a limit to how much poor play rope a RH stick can buy you. For me Holl has had some games past that limit.

It does look like they are setting up for lots of IP to come from the bullpen. Still, I think Faedo, Miller and Chafin would be the only guys they can't option, so it's not like the rest of them can't pitch their way off the 26 easily enough.

i listened to the locked on pistons podcast today to hear a two part episode for jeiii making excuses for troy weaver (what did they expect to get for bruce brown? joe harris was a great shooter! monte morris hits 40% from 3! the front office is committed to the process.) then the next day its "there's a lot of stuff behind the scenes i cant say." which means the "voice of troy weaver" told him that its arn tellum and ed stefanski's fault and that he never wanted monty in the first place. the blame game...it has begun.
