Do you feel the same way about 2A people who walk around with guns all day because they are afraid of society?2 points

Montero has quietly become one of our most reliable relievers over the last two weeks.1 point

Seriously Christian victimhood is so overblown and tiring. You’d think it’s illegal or something. When I see people doing that I immediately assume they are both not a real Christian and cowards.1 point

Jason said if they had put anyone else in Hinch was probably thinking they’d give up three runs and they’d have to bring in Finnegan anyway so why not bring him in now. I found this explanation, brutally honest. Also Hinch plays one game at a time.1 point

I only just got here so I don’t know what’s going on, but I’m OK with four runs although more would be nice :nod, nod, wink wink say no more:1 point

I’m against 1st half and 2nd half. A season is a season. And I want playoff teams based on best record, not fortunate geography.1 point

RE: Johnny Kane Story in today's Freep by Siedel - mostly about Benetti but in the course of it he says that the reason that Kane is basically out with the Tigers except for the occasional drop in is that the Tigers wanted someone for that slot to do both Tigers and Wings, but Kane is committed to the Pistons during the Hockey season and wouldn't give it up (because he is probably angling for Blaha's gig - so why would he?). So maybe not some kind of performance issue as much as just a career choice conflict. https://www.freep.com/story/sports/columnists/jeff-seidel/2025/08/31/detroit-tigers-turn-broadcast-chaos-into-mlb-gold-with-jason-benetti/85872012007/1 point

League average WHIP is 1.290. Again, Charlie's WHIP is better than average. Tough crowd.1 point

I would like the league to get rid of interleague play. The owners thought it would be some boon for the league, but no one really cares. Does anyone really get excited about the series with Pittsburgh or Cincinnati? I'd actually like more games with teams in the division. But neither of those will happen.1 point

Three quality starts out of five, 36 strikeouts and ten walks in 27.1 innings, and a 91 FIP- is “horrible”? Man, tough crowd.1 point

I’m not exactly sure what happened there or who I should blame or let off the hook but I sure wish we’d scored a run there.1 point

Toledo, Erie and Lakeland have all scored six runs. Bert has trained them well.1 point

Not that beating New Mexico is some great feat, but seeing this team in firm control early in the first quarter is reassuring.1 point

Probably, although I do think his health is still declining. It's in his nature to grift, so of course he will continue to do so until his last dying breath1 point

He doesn't believe in Heaven. He's just manipulating his base as a distraction from the Epstein files, his failure to end any war and prices still being high.1 point

Buckeyes have a tough defense but this kid is just missing throws and looks scared to death with no idea what to do. Just had a huge third down deep in Buckeye territory and threw the ball at the feet of his open receiver cutting across the field.1 point

I know that it isn't seen as socially acceptable to speculate on his health like many are at the moment... But let's be honest with ourselves: in the event that he does have some major medical event that inhibits or incapacitates him from executing the job, do people really expect to get factual information from this administration? Or to not cover it up until they absolutely have no choice? The scrutiny on Biden and his health only makes it even more inexcusable for the media to be silent when there is clear evidence that should at least prompt some sort of inquiry or even scrutiny of the administration as to his health. The American people deserve to know1 point

I see about 10 teams currently. This is a flawed team that is starting to get exposed. Bad/inconsistent starting pitching and pen. I understand and respect how Harris approached the deadline. This was not the team to go “all-in” with.1 point

He has two years left on his rookie deal ($11 mil and $19 mil). He just came off a catastrophic injury. I suspect if yesterday Detroit had offered him 4/$188 mil, $120 mil guaranteed, he would have signed it in a second. But why would Detroit do that? I suspect they will extend him after this season, and maybe it will end up costing them a bit to wait, but when you figure he is playing this season about $40 million under market, that puts overpaying a bit down the road in context.1 point

Harris is doing an excellent job. Not perfect but who is ? I am very comfortable with his approach and trust his decision making. I just hope we can keep him for many many years.1 point

But how many of those are ranked just because they are a warm body. Like a WR taken behind hooker, does he have a value of two just cause he saw snaps? If he saw snaps and sucked what does it matter? QB is the only position where mostly just one guy and that's it the entire time. Seems a bit apple to oranges, no? Like Kendre Miller was taken just a couple spots later. He has a weighed value of 3. He has never had more than 150 yards in either season. How much of htat is just him existing versus being a productive player?1 point
