  1. Bingo. Trump still has no plan, no understanding of what a plan would be. You can't "give the money back to the people" because we know they won't buy health insurance with it and we'll end up with public care going back into the emergency wards where it costs multiple time more than properly managed care. This stuff isn't rocket science, it's all been worked out time and time again all over the world. It's only idiot conservative Americans who could look and see the way the world works everywhere but would rather close their eyes than have their ideological fantasies punctured. Even as dyed in the wool a conservative as Romney saw there is basically one way to do it. Trump is just ignorant and isn't interested in knowing how and why he is wrong.

  2. The SNAP money is 100% gone. Whether it went to DOGE or Pig-King’s gilded palace or a secret illegal account in the Cayman Islands I won’t venture to say. But it’s gone.

  4. This is a meeting for the public so the Hamas supporter is going to tell the people what they want to hear and their blind supporters dont realize they are blowing smoke up their butts. The functions I was talking about are the democrat conventions and nomination meetings. Big difference in case you don't know.

  6. The only time I see return labels in use is one the few Christmas cards that still include the “we accomplished so much in the past year” Joe’s out on parole, Patsy finally finished that afghan she’s been working on the past 10 years. Had a great time at Six Flags.

  7. The rights of your fist ends where my nose begins. Gerrymandering not only affects the state within which votes are cast. It skews representation at a federal level. Other states' voters lose representation when another state skews its own representation. Gerrymandering = States rights. LOL

  9. As a long time Duren skeptic, he's really stepped it up this season albeit against a fairly soft schedule. If he can add that little floater and mid range jumper to his arsenal, he has big time offensive potential because he's elite at finishing at the rim. You can live with his defensive inconsistencies if he can bring that level of offense because the Pistons have enough plus defenders around him to hide him on the defensive end. He's a very intriguing player, huge upside if he can add those offensive moves away from the rim. He's also an underrated passer. I'd like to see how he fares against better teams before thinking about extending him long term but he's a special talent.

  11. Better yet: Have only ONE Not-For-Profit medical insurance company that covers ALL Americans. Call it... oh, I don't know... "Medicare for All"? "American Health Insurance"? Because then... the MIDDLEMEN who offer NO MEDICAL SERVICES whatsoever... Are cut out of the picture. You understand the business concept of "cutting out the middleman", yes? You understand the business concept of "bargaining power", yes? (covering ALL Americans gives the BIGGEST POSSIBLE bargaining power to "American Health Insurance" to reduce costs.) Talk about SHARPLY reducing the COSTS of medical services (no wasteful middlemen like all these insurance companies battling each other and spending BILLIONS on: advertising, executive pay, bottom lines, etc...) You understand the business concept of "DENYING COVERAGE", yes? Doesn't happen in a not-for-profit. ONLY happens in for-profit companies willing to **** Americans out of their coverage for bottom line gain.

  12. Specifically what this tells me, as I thought about it after the deadline after not making a trade, is that: DC and Holmes believe they are better off with Trystan Colon (can play C or G, 15 prior NFL starts), Kayode Awosika (has played quite a lot of Guard for the Lions), Kingsley Eguakun (can play C or G, UDFA Center a couple years ago that they've been "coaching up")... Than anything on the trade market that was offered. We'll see how that works out over the next few weeks. But... In Dan and Brad I Trust.

  13. Any state that has its political lines drawn by its legislature is guilty of some sort of political bias. The only fair redistricting seems be be multi member districts based on population proportions. Using Michigan as an example 4 multi member Congressional districts. Detroit Metro, West Michigan, Mid Michigan, and Northern Michigan and the UP. Metro Detroit gets 4 seats based on population size, the rest get three. Utilize A-I to help with mapping the districts as well as an outside no political organization. Go to proportional allocation of Electorial votes. The plan I ran on ChatGPT had the outcome in both districts and EC votes as 7-6 in favor of Republicans. Makes more sense than winner take all. The House seats also came out 7-6, GOP

  23. My prediction is the Mets making an offer that Scott can’t refuse this winter. They probably will bicker forever about Nolan McLean. Scott will stand firm. The Mets will stand firm and eventually counter with way more than they should to keep McLean out of it. Mets won’t treat this as a rental deal. Steve Cohen would make the deal knowing that he’ll pay whatever Boras wants in FA. Cohen’s ego is so big that he can’t even imagine losing Skubal in a money deal. He may even make an offer so over the top before FA that Boras has no choice but to sign it and not take Skub to market.
