It's a mistake for a couple of reasons. He's not good enough to be a starting 4 anymore and they lose the ability to absorb his expiring contract into next years' cap space if they don't trade him. I suppose they can re-sign him anyway but I'm kind of meh on that tbh. I've said this before but this isn't a championship caliber team. No team with Robinson and Harris in a starting lineup not to mention a non-factor offensively in Ausar is serious about winning a Championship. The Pistons are deep and they play very good defense but they can't shoot, their starters just don't stack up well against other contenders and they don't have a #2 option, a legit #2 scorer and/or shot creator. This season has been a great story and a fun ride but I see playoff struggles ahead for this roster with all their flaws.2 points

I still think a guy like P Chris Bassitt would help the pitching depth. I don’t think there’s much more that will be done with the hitting for now, and I think I’m fine with that. But I think the pitching could use a bit more depth.2 points

Of course, "friends" means "people who are useful to him". Everything is transactional with him. It does sound fake, but she always sounds fake. As you said, she has said this stuff before though.2 points

As I said, I worked in a bowling alley. 13 years, a second job. I started a month after I turned 21 as a bartender, but late I moved out to the counter and took care of the lanes. Rental shoes...Oh boy. We rented shoes, you have to. We had hundreds of shoes behind the counter of different sizes, both men and women. They would pay so much for shoe rental, use them, then return them. That's where the can of spray came in. Disinfectant to spray in the shoes after use. That was probably the worse part of the job. It was also some of the most entertaining jobs I ever had in my life. I could write a book.2 points

A little. I get a sensation deep in the ear if the sound is loud and bassy enough. I am done with the steroid drops. Hearing test on Thursday to see if it really made a difference. I am trying a chiropractor next. I've done a little research and some people who gave up on having their hearing restored for years got some or most of it back with just a few adjustments. Wouldn't that be a gas. This is costing me a small fortune. Been getting strange tones in my left ear all day, like test tones. My brain is looking for a signal. Hey, if an expert told me to swallow capsules of ground powdered rat turds and I'd be guaranteed to get my hearing back, I'd do it. I'd just have to make sure I always had sour candy on hand to mask the rat turd burps. I bought weed gummies for sleep on Thursday because I had been getting up every hour (nature's call). I might be having that lethargic post-gummy thing too. Like how you feel the day after taking NyQuil. So tonight, no weed/sleep gummies, just melatonin and hopefully a real sleep, but I know I will feel better tomorrow because I will need to get up and go to work and, as I said, I love my job and I am motivated. I've been inside so much the last 3 or 4 weeks that I feel like I am WAY WAY ahead of schedule on my duties. I do a lot. I'm not saying my job is physically demanding in any way, shape or form, but I juggle a lot of day-to-day things. I do two daily on-air shifts for two radio stations, I program the music for one, I write, produce and schedule the promos, music news, out and about segments, I handle all ticket requests. Busy guy. I freaking love it.1 point

Get yourself a happy light. They really help with seasonal depression and when you trick your brain into seeing “sunlight” it also helps with your sleep.1 point

I agree completely and hope that I’m proven wrong. I’m tired of all the GM’s in town afraid to make a big deadline move because they overvalue their current roster.1 point

but at least she has exhibited some concern for the people that should be the objects of concern for leaders in this episode, which is more than Trump has ever done.1 point

All Star reserves announced tonight. He shouldn't get it, but Duren is a stone-cold lock since his coach is picking the reserves.1 point

Politics makes strange bedfellows, very strange indeed. Here's Majorie Taylor Green. And for once? I believe her. Yes, very strange;1 point

More on Warsh. I've followed this guy for years, and he's always on the Fed stuff. Trump Demanded a Fed Dove. But What Did He Get With Kevin Warsh? - Mish1 point
