Pick up a banjo!

Clinton still makes me laugh. He did the finger point at the camera (it later became Rafael Palmeiro's signature move) and said in short staccato bursts "I did not have improper relations with that woman." Being impeached for lying was so unfair, because he wasn't lying lol! He genuinely did not think that there was anything improper about getting a BJ from a young woman over whom he held immense power.

Collect all the keys.

He's never a ginger though.

They can afford to stall, because Spring Training is far, far too long anyway. These guys all stay in shape year round. As for the owners I doubt that the ticket sales from spring games amount to much as a percentage of overall revenue.- 1,851 replies

He doesn't seem to be vulgar enough for Maroth or conceited enough to be Stan. To choose one it would be Maroth I guess.

Yep, he wants Lindor money. What we are seeing so far is that the market is telling him he isn't worth 10/340. He doesn't like it, so he fired his agent. Fail to see the logic here. Maybe things will change for him after a new CBA is worked out. My $10 bet is that he eventually gets $34 AAV but not 10 years. "I'm the best shortstop on the market, so I get 10/340." Sorry pal, starting to look like maybe it doesn't work that way.

That sounds like a business unit of OCP, headed up by Dick Jones.

How is this even possible? The part that was really astounding is that they get the rights to patrol a mile of the interstate. And then, at the next town line, I guess Sheriff Buford T Justice takes over. Surely the citizens of the town can do something about this. And who is John Archibald...does he have any sort of national platform?

I am nominating Canada for "least organized" on administration of the 3rd vaccine, after a performance that was excellent on the first 2. It is chaotic, because the distribution locations were dismantled last fall before Omicron and quite rightly so. As for self-testing kits, forget it, you can't get one. Having said that, I am curious about how the United States would be judged to be "most organized"...what were the empirical measurements, compared to which other countries?
-
Interesting that Brazil, whose president is a loudmouth far-right extremist, is 88% vaccinated. Hmm.
-
I have no doubt that that is the case. There was a stupid contract out there from a stupid team, but Seager took it.
-
The Gates chip will easily detect that.

In praise of Randy Quaid I would say that he was a stupid dumbass a long time before it became fashionable.

Yes we are agreeing on this...in the inelastic range quantity demanded does decline in response to a price increase, for the reasons you stated, but the percentage decline is less than the percentage price increase.
-
Yes exactly. Gasoline, cigarettes, alcohol, crack cocaine, electricity - quantity demanded declines by a relatively lower percentage than the percentage increase in price. However if you are at the elastic end of the demand curve, for example a vacation resort, a price increase results in a decline in total revenue.

Trump legitimized stupidity, made it a sort of talisman.

Oh, that. Yeah, that's not bacon. Closer to ham, you can eat it without cooking it. Also called peameal bacon, sometimes it is rolled on corn meal. No one in Canada thinks it is bacon, or calls it Canadian bacon. It reminds me of a time here that someone referred to "American cheese" and I had to ask what that is, and it turned out to be cheese slices which are the pasteurized cheese derivative you might put on a hamburger. It seemed to me that you were being unnecessarily hard on yourselves for calling those American, no one else does. Ironically J L Kraft was Canadian.- 1,851 replies

Just out of curiosity, what is Canadian bacon? I don't think that there is a product like that sold in Canada.- 1,851 replies
