  1. Campbell just said that it's a sprained ankle. Pretty vague answer since depending on the location and severity of it you could be talking no time missed or a month plus missed. Lets hope it is the former.
  2. Putting the blood of a possible head injury to a Lions defender on the hands of the Lions Offensive coordinator was wild even by his standards.
  3. Yeah, Las Vegas won in Baltimore last week and this week got destroyed by the Panthers. You just never know week to week what team you will be getting.
  4. Lamar Jackson looking like Jared Goff as he pulls off a clutch 3rd down conversion with his legs to secure the Baltimore victory.
  5. Any time the ball is thrown in Arnold's direction I immediately am expecting a flag if there is an incompletion.
  6. To be fair Nessler and Danielson have been calling the SEC for years, seeing these offenses must be like taking Ambien to them.
  7. Shades of the Denard Robinson days except Denard was a unicorn runner.
  8. Damn sucks the game is on AppleTV plus. Was going to go to our local watering hole with some friends to watch it but I'm not sure they have it.
  9. Preferably I'd want him ready for game 1 but it wouldn't be the end of the world if its not till game 2 since he'd only be pitching 1 game in the series either way.
  10. Has got to be the greatest stat line ever, I would say performance but playing against the Marlins in a huge blowout and facing a position player for one of your at bats kinda negates it a tiny bit atleast compared to if you put up something similar in a big playoff game or something.
  11. Agreed I just don't think those 2 are the the type of players Id give for. Love Vladdy, one of the best hitters in the game but he provides no value elsewhere and is about to be a FA. If I knew that this was just an outlying year for Bichette than he would be a nice addition but as is he really isn't that much of an upgrade over Sweeney, especially considering their respective salaries the next 5+years.
  12. A rare trade where somebody offers up an overpay on our behalf, usually it would be something like Ty Madden and Justin Malloy for said players.
  13. Yeah I factored that in, they are currently 2 back in the loss column so if we only lose 3 the rest of the way that means they can only lose 5 so anything worse than 6-5 for them would put us ahead.
  14. Looking ahead to Saturday against the Orioles, currently we have no listed starter so I'm assuming it's another bullpen/opener day. Just throwing it out there but Jobe last pitched on Sunday so his next schedule start would probably be Friday or Saturday, do the Tigers dare bring him up for a spot appearance against the Orioles? Only reason I bring it up is because we just faced them last week so they will be familiar with our current guys so throwing Jobe out there even to start for a few innings could be a good idea.
  15. We got 10 left and Minnesota has 11. If we can finish 7-3 that will force them to go 6-5, definitely doable.
  16. I guess Hinch was afraid that they just would've walked Carpenter cause I can't think of another reason why he pinch hit with McKinstry over him.
  17. Yep it sucks but if we do make it atleast we'll get to play a minimum of 2 playoff games instead of the sudden death 1 like it was before.
  18. If you're talking about for the first round of the playoffs it wouldn't matter if we caught KC or not we'd still be looking at 3 on the road. In fact it may be a tougher task if we got to the 5 seed since we'd either have to face the Yankees or Orioles who both have a better record than the Astros who we'd see if we got the 6 seed.
  19. Yeah I'm the same way, every time he's on the mound I feel like our only chance is to get lucky and he gets a bunch of "at'em balls" or we score a bunch a runs.
  20. The introduction of batting gloves and all the other armor players wear is a big part of it to me. Before the pitch clock the batters seemingly would re-adjust everything after every pitch.
  21. Red Zone has definitely been the biggest issue, currently the Lions are second in the league in total yards so the offense is moving down the field but they just aren't capitalizing enough. I will say though that I am a little concerned about Goff and the passing game, NFL coaches/scouts are smart and can adjust to things quickly so I worry if they adjusted to how Ben Johnson likes to maximize Goff by throwing up the seams where he is at his best. It feels like that part of our game has been taken away for the most part and Goff has been relying on out patterns to the sideline which isn't his best suit nor our receivers.
  22. I was way off about Bryce Young though. My only trepidation about him was his size but not sure his size is the reason why he has sucked or atleast not the biggest reason why. I felt that he had all the physical skills(not size wise but in terms of QB skills like arm strength, mobility, accuracy etc.) and mental skills(reading defenses, pocket awareness etc.) to be really good but it turns out I was wrong about that.
  23. Was right there with you but admittedly I didn't think he'd be a Pro Bowler right out of the gate but I was confident that he could step in and atleast be solid, especially in the right situation.
  24. Been saying it for years but unless it's an Andrew Luck type QB prospect you should always build your team 1st then take your QB. Carolina not only didn't do that but they gutted their roster the season before drafting him and THEN traded a ton of capital for the rights to him. Just complete negligence. Yeah if you build up your team first you probably will have a good enough team where you won't be picking 1st or maybe even in the top 3 but if you have a good supporting cast but are playing a terrible veteran QB chances are you are still going to be losing a ton and still be in position to draft in the top 5-10 where you can still get a premium QB prospect to put with your good cast.
  25. For their careers Thibedaeux and Walker have 15.5 sacks a piece. Hutchinson has 13.5 his last 7 games played.
