I can't remember the last time I've seen our local government at work. They're usually too busy with self promotion.

There is the state ID. It should be free if it isn't. I know some people have trouble getting around but most people get out now and then. Its not a "right wing" thing to support but I like the appointment system at the SOS. As long as you can get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time it worked good. I hate going there and waiting 3 hours to get a license plate.

My favorite is when I worked at the union. They supported elections without photo ID. Funny thing was that when you voted in a union election they required a photo ID to vote. You couldn't even use your membership card because it didn't have a photo.

I completely agree they need to be easy to obtain. In Michigan you need SS card, birth certificate and bank statement to get your first drivers license. I was surprised when I took my kids for theirs. After you have one you usually just renew by mail. I don't know what is like if you're coming from out of state.

I only know two people for sure that aren't vaccinated. Both are diehard liberals. I know that's a very small sample but I don't think it's all on the Trump supporters. They're just easy targets here.

I've never heard about a national ID. I'm only familiar with state issued. No matter, people still should have a valid photo ID to vote proving who they are. I look at small business as usually locally owned with a couple to 30ish employees maybe more depending on type of business. I have friends that own a business in a small town. They employ about 20 people. Most are high school kids but a few are older folks looking for something to do. I assume they are paid minimum wage. I don't know how much my friend makes as its none of my business. I do know they have sold their big fancy home and moved to a small house to keep the business running. They have been hurt by covid and now inventory issues. No inventory = no sales = no income. The Walmarts aren't going out of business but local shops like my friends are. I don't have issue with business owners making money. They take all the risk and live that business 24/7. If the business closes up the employees go find another job but the owner loses everything. I don't think people understand what it's like to run a business until they've done it. It's easy to be an armchair quarterback.

That guy you replied to is a troll and I blocked him a long time ago. He has nothing worthwhile to offer and he just wants to stir up trouble. If you look at my comment I said IF the vaccine doesn't work. Nobody knows for sure if its working against the latest variant or the variant is more mild. I really hope it's working because if it isn't, it might not work on the next variant which could be more serious. There are more unknowns than knowns with the virus and vaccine at this time.

I've heard several times to get the vaccine to stop the spread. I think it did help a lot with the other variants but this latest one is spreading quickly. There are some reports that Omicron variant is milder. If that's true the current vaccines may not have any impact at all on it. I still think its wise to get the vaccine because nobody knows for sure yet. If the vaccine doesn't work on the current variant I wonder if the next variants will be the same. If so we could be in trouble.

I say good for him. More election security with proper ID. I don't know how you can have a safe, secure and legitimate election if voters can't prove who they are. I don't have a problem with in person early voting but its not that big of a deal. Minimum wage jobs helps the small business that are hurting so bad right now. Any increase will add to the pain. Absolutely nothing wrong with open carry. More people than ever are arming themselves to protect their families because of dem policies not to incarcerate criminals, ignore violent offenders, and allow millions of illegals aliens to do as they please in the country. Looks like they elected the right guy to run the state.

Coulter has never been shy for her dislike of Trump. This comment isn't a surprise. I believe her problem with him is mainly political and that he wasn't conservative enough he backed down to the dems too many times.

Reminds me of Stacy Abrams. She kept going on about the election being stolen from her for so long that she can't remember she did it now.

Yep! Asking people to peacefully and patriotically protest should disqualify him from everything. He should of supported violence like the democrats did in the riots around the country and then helped bail some of the out. Maybe dems would like him better then. 😁

We get it you don't like Donald Trump. Nobody here does but that doesn'tmean he didn't accomplish some good things in office. He also isnt the only POTUS with morals issues. Many before himdid too.

I can't remember all his text but what I do remember was good advice. Telling Trump to be quiet about the election because it will come back on him or something lime that. Hannity is a radio and TV opinion show host. Just like Lemon, Cooper, Carlson and the rest. I don't think journalistic integrity is even words they understand.

Biden is just a puppet in this voting scheme. The dems want to get rid of the rules so they can never lose power. The big question right now is why aren't they attacking the Deleware voting laws? They are much more restrictive than Georgia. You don't have to be too smart to see through this corrupt bs. Its the black people who should be upset the most since the democrats keep saying they're not smart enough to get a photo ID. I know a lot black people and can't think of one that doesn't drive. Dems are just stirring up racism again and trying to use it for their advantage.

I still have trouble seeing the comparison of Cuomo and Hannity. Hannity basically sent texts to the President's Chief of Staff telling him to shut Trump up. Cuomo is accused of sexual assault and his network saw enough merit to the claims to fire him. There's really no comparison. Sexual assault accusations get just about anybody the ax these days.

I wouldn't say his ideas and principles collide with the US. This country is pretty evenly split. If it weren't for covid he would been easily re-elected. A lot of people like much of what he stood for and did. It was Donald Trump the person they don't like. I agree with them too. I like what he did in office but can't take listening to him. There's a lot more buyers remorse with Biden than Trump. Only diehard dems think he's doing a good job.

But he is an American from the USA. Just like I said about Biden, he may be the village idiot but he's our village idiot.

I don't think we would be better off without Fox News. There is a need to tell the other side of the story than the liberal propaganda we get from CNN, MSNBC, and the main stream outlets. All of those, including Fox are only telling us one side and thats the side they want you to hear. I will say it again...the people on this site think CNN and other liberal media is fair and impartial because they like what they hear. You guys are not even a little bit impartial. In a conversation here a few months ago one poster here made the comment that CNN and MSNBC were the most unbiased in their reporting. I about fell down laughing. Fox also takes a beating from the farther right organizations like Newsmax and Brietbart. They feel Fox is too kind to the dems.

Biden is out today promoting the end of the filibuster so they can ram through the democrat wish list that will harm this country even more than they already have. I think they're pretty stupid because if Republicans are ever able to get power the dems are going to pay big for their own stupidity.

I guess I'm a team player. I'm against almost everything the Biden admin and the dems are doing. They're kind of like our villiage idiots but they're OUR village idiots. I wouldn't work with or agree with any foreigner to work against my country. So what you are saying is its OK to work with another country to go against the US as long as they support your opinion.

Wow, you hit the nail on the head with people right here on this site. There are posters here that are not from the US that post negative things about the US, its policies and elected officials and other posters slap them on the back and agree with them.

I agree that Nessel is the absolute worst. She has politicized th AG office so much. She has a job to do and it isn't being a politician. If getting rid of Nessel would insure Whitmer got another term I would take four more years of Whitmer.

It wasn't a mistake about what she said about 100k children. CDC chief Rochelle Walensky even commented on what she said and how it was wrong.
