What we don't know is if this a minor correction or the start of something bigger and more long term. If you are investing now thinking you are buying at very low prices you should relook at that. The markets have been due for a correction for a while. With inflation, the fed making changes and world events there is a good chance this could be more of a long term decline. The volitility of the markets could indicate this. The good times of the market were bound to end. Its still to be determined if this is it for a while or not.

Don't forget Biden has a personal financial interest in Ukraine. Joe will do whats best for him and his boy. If Biden shuts down the pipelines in the US why would he support a pipeline in another country?

There are still some people here that think the market is soaring. If it makes Biden and the dems look bad it's usually is nonexistent on this forum.

I disagree...They are just another leaching country that wants a handout from the US. If we can't protect our own borders we have no business going to another country to help them with theirs. The biggest threat to the US is Iran. That is where our real foreign problem is. As soon as they have an opportunity to attack us or get a nuclear weapon we will have a big problem. There was a report a few weeks ago they are already planning something with operatives in the US.

Ukraine isn't an ally to the US. They aren't in NATO. The only thing they have done is give Joe's boy a job, that he wasn't qualified for, that paid a lot of money.

There is no reason for us to go to war to protect Ukraine or Taiwan. It would put us at war with China and Russia which would be catastrophic for the entire world. I don't think we've have military leaders or political leaders in a long time that could handle a conflict or war like that. Our current president doesn't even know what day it is so how could he lead a nation through a major event? Simple answer is he and his administration can't.

It won't happen. At the very least I hope the Republicans would come up with false accusations and treat the nominee the way the dems treated the Trump nominees. I doubt they would thought. They can do some low things but they wouldn't stoop as low as the democrats. What ever they do they need to make it very tough on them.

I'm not a fan of McConnell but the best thing he did in his career is keep Garland from being on the SCOTUS. He would have been a politician and his decisions based on politics like he has as AG. He's been an embarrassment as AG. I assume Biden's nominee or the dems nominee since Biden won't have much say in it, will be a racist decision. The person will be picked by their skin color and not their qualifications. The new Justice will most likely be ruling based on politics and not the law.

Currently its a correction with not a lot of promise for an end anytime soon. Yesterday was a very volatile day. Were starting out again today with all three major indexes down over 2%. There's nothing fake about what's going on in the markets. I would hold on tight for a while. It could be a very rough ride.

Doocy is a professional and asked a fair and serious question. He didn't act anything like Acosta from CNN who tried to act like he was the most important person in the room.
