  1. At no time did President Trump ever state covid was a hoax. That actually came from either the democrats or the liberal media playing politics and a bunch of uninformed people started believing it came directly from Trump.
  2. I have never made covid political. Covid infects the left and right the same. When politicians split the country over covid we are all the big losers. If your feelings are hurt over Biden's promises I can't help that. Biden has been a massive failure and covid has nothing to do with it.
  3. It also worth mentioning that California had over 100,000 cases yesterday and New York had over 80,000.
  4. Hang on a minute....I merely pointed out covid cases are super high and then reminded you all about Joe's campaign promise. I do know and I said it in my comment, had Trump or any republican made the same promise, and covid numbers explode like they are, you would be all over it. Joe is on your home team so nothing is said. I have always said and I will stand behind it again, covid is not political and we need to get politics out of it. I know how you guys are so I couldn't help a little ribbing about Joe's campaign promise. At least it gave you something to talk about today. Most of all I'm ticked that the MSU/UM basketball game was cancelled. I'm a big MSU basketball fan and was looking forward to the game.
  5. Yesterday the US had over 800,000 new cases reported and Michigan is also at an all time high of 20,000+. I'm glad one of BIden's campaign promises was to fix this. I know if Trump was elected on the same promise you guys would be all over it but I see Biden gets a pass. On the bright side, Covid saved UM mens basketball a loss today since the game against MSU was postponed or cancelled. Tom and his team would have ran over them.
  6. These are the things that drive me crazy. It's not you Buddha but how the dems think they have to "check the boxes." Being a female, or gay, asian, hispanic, disabled or whatever does not make a person a good POTUS or even qualified for the job. Forget about all that crap and give us the best two nominees to fight it out. If its two gay black females then fine, if its two straight white guys then fine too. Just give us the best. I've never understood why the dems feel the need to label and separate everyone. We are Americans and that is all that matters.
  7. If Trump really was a mob boss then I think Ted would have been clipped by now. Cruz seems to frequently jump into a steaming pile of poo with both feet. That's really not what's so bad because who cares if he goes to Cancun or where ever during a power outage. He isn't fixing the power lines or the grid. What's so bad is the blatant lies he always comes up with to try to cover his tracks. A ten year old could make up better stories.
  8. Out of the people you listed I think Sherrod Brown would be the best candidate. He has experience and the knowledge. Harris was a not a good candidate for POTUS and she's done nothing so far as VP to change that. And lets be honest, she is VP because of her skin color and sex. Warren is not and has not been a legitimate candidate either. She just seems too batshit crazy most of the time. Newsome might not even be able to win his Governors seat if he goes after it. He is not liked by many people. Mayor Pete is another inexperience and do nothing guy. I put him and Harris in the same category. Michelle Obama is just a no for all the same reasons that Oprah would be a no. She has no experience and would be Biden and Trump all over again. The dems best shot in 2024 could be a ticket of Brown and Whitmer as VP or someone like that. At least it would be a 1,000 times better than what we have now. This country deserves far better candidates than we've given the last two elections. We have to stop catering to these special interest groups and nominate the best candidates no matter their race, sex or sexual orientation. None of that makes a good or bad POTUS and is meaningless to the office.
  9. I agree with you that there were a few people there that actually thought they could change the outcome of the election. However, that number of people was very small. Those people must have very few brain cells and were as smart as the people that thought they could kidnap Whitmer and set her a sail in Lake Michigan. To overthrow the US gov't, to change the result of an election, would probably take a military force the size of Russia and China combined and chance of success of that without total nuclear destruction would be very small. The rest of the people were protestors and hooligans that a lot of them got out of control. It was probably more of follow the leader and people were just stupid and did stupid things. Do you really think a guy dressed in fur and horns is going to lead a group of people in a coup? I saw a video a while back of people pushing through a police barricade. A couple guy were doing all the pushing, shoving and fighting. In the process it looked like a female officer was hurt. While the couple guys kept getting violent at the side you could see other protestors attending to the female officer and helping her up. As far as Trump giving them orders that is ridiculous and there is zero proof of that. Who knows what was going through his head during the riots but there is absolutely no proof of him telling people to attack the Capitol. His exact words were "peacefully and patriotically protest." We all know that if he said to attack that would still be playing on a continuous loop on every MSM channel and CNN. This entire debacle is sensationalized by the democrats and the media. For Biden and Harris to compare this to the attack on Pearl Harbor is a travesty.
  10. I suppose its on how a "terrorist attack" is defined. If a riot is a terrorist attack then it was one. If the riots in Oshawa, St. Louis, Minneapolis, the western states, etc, etc, etc, are considered terrorist attacks then riots at the Capitol then would be considered the same. There was as much organization or more in those riots than there was in DC. Now if all those other riots are considered peaceful protests like some democrats like to think, then DC was also a peaceful protest. Point is that no matter which way its defined they are all the same and should be described alike.
  11. They "report" to their base viewers. They are no different than any other so called news outlet. I feel the same about CNN. Today they have a headline remembering the lives lost at the Capitol on Jan 6. There was only one life lost that day. No officers were killed or any other protestors or rioters. Its just sensationalized reporting playing to their base.
  12. Thank you. The nurse at the hospital told me about the shortages. You need to have enough "red flags" to get on the list for the treatment. Unfortunately I had several of those red flags.
  13. Just a personal phobia. I'm not what you would call anti-vaxxer or anything like. I don't like to take medicine or drugs if I don't have to.
  14. I've never seen her at the range or I would be spending more time there.
  15. If someone goes after an officers gun that usually means they're going to get shot. That is what happened to Michael Brown and he paid for it.
  16. Also, this is Double Jeopardy you can go for $2000.
  17. When you said it was "alarming" I took it to mean what I posted. I apologize if I misunderstood.
  18. I'm not a fan of Hannity. I think he an arrogant blow hard but I can say that he admits he is not a journalist.
  19. I had the antibody treatment on Monday morning. They told me 24 to 48 hours later I should start to feel better. You could almost set you watch by it because yesterday I started feeling better and again today much better. I was hesitant to get it but glad I did now.
  20. I don't know why you would consider that alarming. I don't like what happened at the Capitol any more than I like any of violent uprising around the country for different reasons (or really no reason at all.) Most people with my political views feel the same. You don't have to agree with or support the Capitol riots to be a Conservative or Republican. This line of thinking goes right a long with if you didn't vote for Biden you are a Trump supporter. You guys need to expand your thinking a little.
  21. I believe Davy Crocket died at the Alamo in 1836 if my memory of history is correct.
  22. Since the day Trump was elected there were dems calling for his impeachment. That shows they didn't care about facts or reasons they just wanted power. You might remember Dearborn's favorite politician calling to impeach the MFer. How professional of her. Anyway, both impeachments were partisan dog and pony shows. The first one was like a comedy shop with Schiff and Nadler trying to talk over each other with their false information and refusal to let the Republicans even get a word in. The second was more of the same and an even bigger waste of time trying to impeach someone that's not even in office. Pelosi and her clan were just proving that when you think the democrats can't go any lower, wait until tomorrow.
  23. You should realize there are extremists and nut jobs supporting both sides. There are tons of liberal supporters that would fit the same category and at least one that is a regular on this site. The problem I see here is that some of you think if someone didn't vote for Biden they are a blind follower of Trump. That is so far from the truth.
  24. As you can probably expect I visit a lot of conservative pages and sites. I've never seen anything like what you mention or anything "worshiping" Donald Trump. Its probably stuff made up on your liberal sites.
