That's what happened to me yesterday. My daughter came to dinner and about half way through dinner she mentions she was congested, sore throat, etc. I'm always happy to see my kids but I couldn't believe she came to dinner not feeling well. She says she only has a cold because she didn't lose smell or taste. I told her that's not always the case and she needed to find out if she has a cold or covid.

One of the bigger problems is that Covid has become political. That's the worst thing that could have happened. Covid infects people of all political beliefs without discrimination. I also understand how people can have reservations about a vaccine that was developed in a short amount of time. Those people should be discussing their concerns with their doctor and not a politician.

I don't want to repeat myself so read my previous posts. It explains he is not pointing a gun at anyone as its a holstered firearm and being safely withdrawn. Also I am far from an expert. I just have a bit of experience that sounds like most people here don't have. I'm speaking from experience and knowledge where a lot of people here are guided by their feelings and or politics.

I think most people thought the vaccine would prevent someone from getting Covid -much like a flu shot - and the vaccine would get us past the pandemic. I didn't mean it was going to end covid because I think Covid is here for a long time if not forever.

I don't know what thread to put this in so I'm going to put it here.... I have to go finish wrapping presents then going to visit parents for Christmas. We've also scaled back but have not completely eliminated things. Its just immediate family and not the big extended group. Anyway, I hope everyone can set their political differences aside for a while and I wish all of you a safe and Merry Christmas!

I can't see exactly what kind of firearms these are but its very possible they have an internal safety which is very common. You can also see that his finger is not on the trigger or in the trigger guard. His actions with the chest holster is safe and wouldn't be an issue in any class I've been part of. Since he's in a wheelchair a waist holster wouldn't work for him. The chest or body holster is not real popular outside of military since its mostly an open carry device. I will retract my comment on the guy filming. He could be in a better position but if you watch the video he is making it does make it look like he is on his side rather than front side. I doubt that going to the range and firing multiple firearms has anything do with bravado or failed marriage.

In the last two week I've lost a friend and two co workers to Covid. All have been vaccinated but apparently had underlying conditions or were 60+ years old. I hope the treatments that have been approved the last couple days have a positive result on the virus since the vaccines may help but don't appear to be the end all. There is some discussion on the latest variant not being as severe and may not last as long. I read somewhere that it might already be dying out in South Africa.

The gun in the green circle is in a chest holster being drawn. Its not being pointed at anyone. The guy filming is off to the side. This reporting is just sensationalism from people that don't know any better. I don't see the point of firing two guns at the same time but that is up to the person doing it.

His firearm is in a holster on his chest. This is the style holster many of the US military use. He isn't pointing his gun at anyone but the target.

You do realize that threating elected officials including past POTUS is a serious crime. Its a federal felony sherlock. Keep running your mouth. This is a public forum. There must not be any mods here.

You're being rediculous and I don't even know why I'm answering you. There is no unbiased media anymore. They all have an agenda and some are worse than others. I'm talking about the media outlets in general and not specific shows like Tucker Carlson, Don Lemon, Rachel Maddow etc. Those are not news shows but opinion shows and at least Sean Hannity admits he's not a journalist.

First, they didn't end the filibuster, they used the nuclear option. If they wouldn't have the democrats would never agree to approve anyone. Dont forget it was the democrats that used it first to get their people in. The Republicans also did not pack the Court. They filed vacancies the were open due to deaths and retirement. The three appointed under Trump are still nowhere near as political as Sotomayor who is trying to be as bad as Ginsburg. Nobody should want the filibuster eliminated. When one party has all three chambers its the only power the minority party has. If the democrats eliminate the filibuster they will change everything to favor them and the country will be lost for all of you worried about our democracy. @1984Echoes dude you live on your own planet and I'm not giving anymore time to someone who advocates hatred and violence as you've done.

Perhaps Manchin and Sinema do recognize the danger our democracy is in and are the ones saving it by being against eliminating the filibuster, packing the Supreme Court and Federal Election law bill H.R.1. If those were to pass our country would be in trouble.

I don't like or support those things either but I would add all bigotry to your list...Hey we have something in common. You're not paying attention if you don't think CNN is a liberal outlet. They're no different than any other media in that they are biased in their reporting. The current administrations blunders are so bad and obvious that even the liberal media has to report on it.

It sounds like you want to penalize all gun owners because of a few idiots. I'm not too worried about it because we will never give up firearms or have them confiscated. There are millions of firearm owners in the US and it'ss one of the few issues that will make liberals vote against democrats.
