    No prospect on their list has a 45 FV? I’m not familiar with the Phillies system, but we know DD like to trade prospects. I think it will be Cincy, Baltimore or the Phillies in at least one deal with us.

    You’re probably right, but I would argue that (so far), the trade with Philly is playing out as quantity over quality. Maton and Sands have not lived up to expectations.

    Not sure I agree that ERod is behind Giolito. He’s out pitched him and likely opts out, essentially making him a free agent like Lucas. And if he doesn’t opt out, the acquiring team has Rodriguez on a 3-year, team friendly contract.

    I loved Christmas. Our hair shirts were trimmed to a much more comfortable length.

    We couldn’t afford to have an elevator in our abode. We improvised by adding a helipad on our roof for the helicopter and then walked down. But we rarely complained about it.

    So many Tigers/Angels connections, including Gary Pettis, Lance Parrish, Al Cowens, Fred Lynn, Jason Thompson, Troy Percival, Damion Easley, Frank Tanana…

    I’d do Manning for India, though I don’t think they’d go for it. Also, moving Manning or Skubal will exacerbate out current depth, if you believe we should still trade ERod and Lorenzen to avoid losing them later for nothing.

    Yes. And Monday Night Baseball was a big deal. I think the local Tigers broadcast on WDIV was limited to 40-50 games. It was the only way to see an NL team, too.
