    We don’t know that. The previous regime cut ties with players with guaranteed contracts, and I would think Harris will too. Schoop apparently isn’t blocking anyone yet—seems the team doesn’t think Lipcius, Keith or Malloy are ready. Heck, we brought Nevin back with his really poor MLB track record. I could see Schoop getting cut in the back half of the season, if necessary.

    He’s with the club, so there doesn’t appear to be any animosity. I think he’ll pitch—he basically needs to re-establish his value if he hopes to score in free agency.

    I don’t think the Tigers want Eduardo to opt out. He’s on a team friendly deal, relative to more recent free agent deals. I think everyone expects him to exercise it—for the same reason.

    When I saw Malloy in ST, I was a bit surprised at his physique. He’s a bit stocky—I think full time DH is probably a few years out. I like the idea of Keith at 3B.

    They have a pretty low budget—I would be majorly bummed if that decision was driven by money. They could have easily afforded both Lorenzen and Candelario, if they wanted to.

    He had to force a throw to get a double play and it sailed. The runner didn’t advance, though. I’m one of Javy’s biggest critics, but I’ll defend him here.

    Grossman was safe anyway. No damage done. Ironic that Shep and C-Mo are finally dogging a Tiger player, though it’s for the wrong reason.
