  1. Anderson's video suggests he's a bit stocky (and apparently picked up some HR power towards the end of the season). No idea where he plays--the MLB guys suggested he probably wouldn't stay in the middle infield. Maybe 1B? As a reminder, these are now Harris' guys. Meadows, Jung, etc.. were inherited. I would not be surprised, and actually pleased, if we moved some of our prospects that might hold appeal to other teams for controllable major leaguers, especially teams who are looking to reduce payroll. Not to go for it this season, but to accelerate our turnaround. While the Paredes for Meadows trade didn't work out, I think those are the types we should pursue.
  2. Sounds like he’ll move to 2B and hopefully push Jung soon.
  3. MLB guys are gushing about our pick and draft so far.
  4. You just want funny names now. That doesn’t start until the 15th round.
  5. There was a LH pitcher that was mocked to us. Whitman?
  6. If he can be a legitimate lead off guy, someone we have lacked, I’m on board.
  7. Add that to the $700K+ they can go over, and that will help them later.
  8. I see 2026 at the latest.
  9. Well, the top 5 went as expected, just not in the order everyone expected.
  10. Clark looks like he’ll be good, but obviously more risk without having played and excelled on a bigger stage. The fact that he’s a CF and hits LH probably big. By the time he comes up in a few years, Riley will likely be ready to move to LF.
  11. I hope we’re saving a bit of money to apply elsewhere.
  12. Harris telling fans we’re in for a longer rebuild.
  13. Anybody have any deja vu just now? 2021 draft?
  14. Please be Langford. Don’t screw this up.
  15. Langford looking likely. I’m good with that, if it plays out this way.
  16. I was being lazy and assumed he was there for Bart, but looks like you are correct.
  17. Agree—if he’d sign a 2-year deal, he’s probably worth keeping. I don’t think teams will surrender a top 100 prospect for him. Probably similar to Mike Fiers from a couple of years ago in terms of trade value.
  18. Harris drafted two college catchers in Joey Bart and Patrick Bailey.
  19. Skub looks like he enjoyed a lot of pasta during his time away. He’s noticeably heavier—he’s an expectant father, so might be sympathy weight. I’m still trying to shake mine—my “baby” is 18 years old
  20. I was looking at Harris’ first round picks with SF and he doesn’t seem to have a type or pattern that would help you predict what he might do.
