  1. I doubt Grossman makes it to the end of the season with the Tigers.
  2. Me likey. Especially if we get closer to the 2019 version. Liked Isaac, but he was blocked and getting squeezed.
  3. Pinero aged out, like a member of Menudo
  4. I’d pass on Conforto—injury is a concern and would rather not surrender another pick. Give the AB’s to Baddoo/Hill/Cameron.
  5. If this is his personal take, at least he’s being consistently contrarian to logic.
  6. I can see a minor trade taking place towards the end of the spring, to help create some room on the 40. I would think the Castro boys, Clemens, Hill, Reyes and Jiminez are all vulnerable.
  7. Fulmer hurt, or just ineffective?
  8. Hope it’s just this season in response to a shortened spring training and concern for the pitcher’s fragile wings.
  9. Twitter sure likes it
  10. Apples and oranges. The Correa contract was made out of desperation and would not have been available to us earlier. Also, if Correa stays healthy and productive, he’s gone after one season.
  11. The starters in both the majors and minors need to be stretch out quickly. Probably not a lot of 3-4 inning opportunities for Brieske moving forward in the big camp.
  12. This contract only came to be because we’re already playing games in Spring Training. It’s basically a one-year deal.
  13. I suspect they are done, and probably justifiably. Some combination of Manning, Alexander, Pineda, Peralta, with Wentz, Hill and Brieske waiting in the wings.
  14. He’s a 5th starter. Very adequate, along with Peralta and Alexander to provide depth and insurance. I’ll allow it
  15. Tigers are reported to have signed Michael Pineda. Very solid.
  16. Calling it—Willi gets a dinger today.
  17. I’d suggest Madden, Kreidler and Daz for Montas. Trading Manning makes no sense, as it creates another hole.
  18. Wild ass hunch (could also be alcohol fueled): Tigers sign Jorge Soler
  19. Wish he had moved to do the NHL instead, but leaving baseball is progress.
  20. This generation’s Kevin Saucier
  21. Agree. I think the Tigers are lying in the weeds right now. Not a lot of great free agent SP options out there, and teams are giving up good prospects in trades, which the Tigers don’t want to do. However. I’d move Candelario, Grossman, Paredes, Cameron and/or Kreidler, if necessary. I don’t think we have a lot of minor league pitching depth to move—Faedo and Wentz are question marks and Brieske, while promising, is unproven.
