    Grossman trade is addition through subtraction—more AB’s for Greene, Baddoo, and possibly Cameron. 3 guys who could have a future vs one that had zero. It’s a shame that Grossman fell off so sharply this year—easy to forget his contributions last season. Hope he can turn things around with the Braves.

    Does Anglin have a brother? I’d be fine going with Haase and Garneau until Rogers is ready.

    It does seem odd to pull Skubal there. Pitching a shutout, close game, relatively low pitch count. If it was to audition relievers, why bring in Vest? I’d be surprised if he were to move.

    He was actually hitting better recently, but can never seem to get it together. If only he could have avoided all of the injuries along the way, maybe his bat would be more advanced than it has shown.

    They must believe they can still trade Grossman. Although, we have to clear another 49 man spot this week for Matt Manning.

    I think he’ll clear—most teams have 40 man challenges, too.

    Hader has been brutal lately. Was on the verge of losing his job to Devin Williams—MLB Radio speculating moving him would avoid any potential uncomfortableness around his demotion. Soto should have more trade value than Hader—having the better season, much cheaper (that matters to teams) and controllable for more years. I would expect a better return.
