    We should move Haase to the Yanks. He’s going to get squeezed as soon as Rogers is healthy and Dingler is ready. His trade value might never be higher.

    I think signing an OF is premature. Grossman is fine in one of the corner spots for the next season. Can’t block Greene, who is probably ready. For the other spot, I want to know what we have in Baddoo, Hill and Cameron—they need to get the AB’s this season. If none emerge, we can address next offseason.

    if this gets resolved soon, everything will be forgiven/forgotten by the fans. It's still only Spring Training, and an April delay to the start of games will not mean much (especially since attendance is already light, after Opening Day). The transaction frenzy that will take place over the next few weeks will be unrivaled (even greater than the old GM winter meetings when trades actually happened). So many elite players that will need to sign quickly will create a ton of news and excitement, mitigating any current bad taste fans have. MLBRumors.com will likely crash multiple times over the next few weeks.

    Yes, a bit tone deaf/stupid of MLB to announce a significant, new revenue stream amidst a negotiation, at least in the court of popular opinion. But not sure they care.

    Seems insane to me that this can’t get worked out, based on the potential damage to a game whose interest is waning amongst a younger demographic. Seems a bit shortsighted, but the owners can weather any financial storm and will likely dig in.

    Really hope Bobby Hebert will be the QB again. As for other options, would/could the Tigers schedule a few Mud Hens games at Comerica? Also wonder if Bally Sports would televise any of the Hens games? With the excitement around Greene and Tork, I suspect they could get some viewers.

    Seems like an odd time to discover that, unless he played winter ball. He could be ready by next spring with some luck. I think he’s repped by Bauer’s agent, Rachel Luba, who hasn’t been very lucky with clients (also reps Puig).
