This trade deadline could be fascinating. If we are a sub .500 team, I could see many players on the chopping block, including Skubal, Greene, Mize and Carp.
the collapse September makes this start more concerning. Let’s hope it’s a weather thing or just our rough stretch that every team goes through at some point in the season. It’s just more alarming when it happens at the beginning of the season.
I think these takes of Clark being a bonehead are both lazy and false. Every interview I’ve seen with, he is humble and grounded. Ignore the chains and tattoos and whatever associations you might have with them. He’s solid.
I think Clark could. I’m not putting much stock in his spring—he’s playing in more competitive games now. I’d still give him another 25-30 games before a promotion, but he close and has the talent for disruption. Think a Parker Meadows with a much better hit tool and plate discipline.
A McGonigle /Clark/Keith combination at the top of the order could wreak havoc and make Greene, Carp and Tork more productive.
Have the Lions ever drafted a player that was frequently mocked to their pick (or that they were allegedly interested in)?
Genuinely asking because I don’t know.
