Great—now please clear these Tigers conspiracies for me: -Miggy got injured trying to separate Prince and Avisail Garcia, after he allegedly slept with Fielder’s wife. -Brandon Inge punched Ugueth Urbana on a team flight. -Gibby physically went after Pudge for being disrespectful to Tram, when he was manager. -Ron LeFlore went MIA for a game, the same day his brother’s alleged killer was murdered.

The goal, however achieved, should be to win the AL Central. It’s doable.

Very odd. Goes to a division rival. Preller must have convinced SD ownership that he was the reason they underperformed.

I also heard his dad worked at Ikea for 30 years and they named an ottoman after him for his distinguished service.

Hoping for Phillies/Rangers

Manning at this point might just be an inexpensive innings-eater. Still valuable to the team, but would likely yield very little in trade return. If so, better off holding on to him to give you innings in 2024 and hope something clicks with him. Then you have options.

If we need either in 2024, then everyone got hurt again, unless it’s for expanded rosters.

I doubt they would ban a pitch under these circumstances, but it would help the team and pitchers self-police themselves better.

Bigbie, if he makes it, is 2025. As it is, the Tigers already have 3 rookies penciled in for the start of the season (Meadows, Keith and Malloy). I suspect they will limit to that.

I can’t get behind way too early. Jung performed very well at AA—he should start next season in Toledo. Zach Neto is already playing in the league from his draft class. No issue with getting some PT in Toledo, but he’s already on the cusp of being ready. I’ll be bummed if we don’t see him by July.

I’m not sure neither Greene nor Tork would have gone through similar growing pains, even with more service time. Both had made it to AAA. Hard to discern between important develop time and service time shenanigans, but I’m fine with a prudent approach. We’ll likely already have three rookies in the lineup at the beginning of next year, which is probably pushing things.

Unless they mother **** him like they did to Keith, he could be up quickly.
