Watching the Blue jays broadcast I hope Verling played right field and Carp stays at DH. Also Keith looks very stiff. Just waited for a slow grounder instead of charging and trying for the DP. Barely got the force out. Yes it's very very early but I am worried about the team defense.

No way it take until 2026 to reach the bigs for that stuff unless your assuming it take a year or so at that level to be a #2. Personally I think arms only last so long so why wait. Bobrob2004 is solid predictor and if so does the Tork and Greene numbers meet everyones expectations or were we planning on more. I was and still am especially Greene. We need one of these to really blossom to lead this team. I thought Greene was a .300 -.350 - .475 825 OPs player and Tork a .270-.325-.500 and 825 as well. I think we need this to happen to win the division.

Anyone else think that one of the secondary reasons for the Gio signing is his relationship to Baez and lack of latin players on the team ? Baez is a big $ investment and keeping him in good spirits makes sense.

I am out of state and not as informed as you, and noting your logo you're probably well versed on corruption, but doesn't the Illitch companies employ lots of people in Detroit ? Haven't they built or refurbished large parts of Detroit and more than anyone else adding to the vibrancy of the city? What investor wouldn't take advantage of tax incentives if availible?

Another solid and opportunistic move by Harris. Very happy he is concerned about the defense. Gio is a solid defender and Verling can move the f back to the outfield where he excels. Double win. JHM will open in AAA to focus on defense as well and Jung will play third in AAA all season. McStinky on the bubble. And if the pelvis injury has ruined Gio it's only 1.5 lost. The Yankee-Blue Jays-Angels and Twins fans are all bemoaning not signing him online. Defense wins games and can not be ignored.

Collecting cards is really smart. Easy to store, handle and trade/sell. I made the mistake collecting balls, bats and pictures and it's always a cost and challenge to display without slowly watching the autographs fade. I don't have much but it's still work. I do have a Man Casita in my backyard but it has too many windows and sunlight so not really a cave and not good for keeping signatures from fad......ay...

Portland would be a mistake in my opinion. Nashville and Salt lake are much better.

True but less problematic if it’s a large multi year commitment.
