    good win. bucs defense is impressive. bucs also missed two touchdowns when mayfield missed an open receiver behind the defense on a big throw. they need branch back AND i wouldnt mind seeing them trade for a decent cb if one can be found. jacobs and harris are good bench players but not starters on championship teams.

    afc loss. doesnt matter as much. for example, if the season ended today the niners and eagles both would be seeded above the lions because the lions lost an nfc game and the eagles and niners lost non-conference games.

    and? he's missed most of two full seasons. fot whatever reasons, he's way behind where he should be in terms of games played. you can play the contrarian card all day, but its a legit worry that he hasnt been playing and its ok for fans to be a bit nervous when he misses even MORE time, no matter what the given reason is.

    dennis franklin and rick leach were a little before my time, although i remember some of leach's games. harbaugh was the best michigan qb i can remember. brady was actually pretty good even if no one remembers because it goes against the myth that he was benched for henson. denard was a special qb but brady hoke was too stupid to play to his strengths. gardner too.

    and then the hawks score with 20 seconds left and i lose. makes me hate them even more! it was wings +1.5 and habs -1.5. if anyone cares to share my pain.

    yeah, but this is the u$c defense. not even marcus freeman can fail against that.

    i had a parlay with the canadiens + 1.5 and the wings - 1.5... so that goal from seider meant A LOT to me! lol

    that was a really good two periods of hockey. they've been the better team outside of their defense making multiple mistakes. the forwards have been excellent.

    i expected gibbs to contribute a little more, but not campbell. lions have quality linebackers already. let campbell learn. he's made a couple plays already, but barnes and anzalone are decent starters and rodriguez is a good backup.

    if michigan state had any fans, they might actually be upset about this. dont worry, they'll hang with michigan for a half and then spend the whole year bragging about how theyre just as good as the wolverines.

    they brought in a 5* quarterback and a 5* receiver. two of the best players in college football. they were going to be better. they will continue to get better as long as deion stays interested because he'll be able to recruit. can he create a great program? dunno. it takes a while to build a good offensive line, as were seeing this year. but he'll get top players because they'll be attracted to that kind of attention. not sure how the "throw everyone under the bus and call them all terrible when things go wrong" stuff will turn out, but we'll see.

    first big setback and deion is already calling out and questioning his players. it wont matter because he's "prime time" with a ****load of nil money, but that's not what an experienced leader would do. feels kind of ****ty to call out your 20 year old kids.

    i finally got a chance to watch the game and was pretty impressed with detroit. they outplayed jersey for a lot of the game. the passing looked good, they outshot them for most of the game, played physical. jersey is a good team and hughes has turned into what a #1 pick is supposed to be. i was encouraged with detroit's play, fwiw.

    i'm with the consensus. 90 points and just miss the playoffs.

    and if you did get him, you might be in a salary crunch after you pay seider and pettersson. dahlin getting 11 mil aav is really going to hurt fornthe seider negotiations.
