i guess you expect things from a michigan football coach that i dont. he's a football coach. win games, beat ohio state, dont be too much of an ass hole. i think he accomplishes all that. he's very quirky and i think that's a bit endearing. ymmv. so what if he looks at the nfl? i want a coach who is good enough to be coveted by the nfl or other programs. harbaugh's one of the top coaches in the sport. pay him like one and he'll stay for another ten years. hopefully with much silverware.

every city's downtown smells like pot nowadays. it used to just be denver, but everywhere its legalized the smell of pot wafts in the air. its annoying as heck.

i am very surprised he's staying. i thought for sure he was gone this time. word is that the contract will make assurances that michigan will become nil competitive, and harbaugh will be paid like the top football coach he is. i mean, maybe not mel tucker money, but who can match mel for his success at msu? that guy is in demand... but i digress. this is great news for michigan on the nil front and the immediate success of the program front. they should be a top 5 program next year and - dare i say it - favorites to three peat. if the nfl really passed up on harbaugh again, its baffling to me. otoh, if his agent did a nice job of setting up "interviews" and releasing tid bits of information on "interest" as well as "the AD sucks" tweets, then he did a masterful job.

posters ask what the wings need? talent. they need talent. they signed a lot of professional veterans and they've improved the team, but they arent going anywhere unless seider/raymond/kasper/edvinnson or some other young draftees turn out to be great players. the best teams in the league make the wings look slow in a way the wings almost never do to any team. as ive lamented many times, the talent deficit in the organization was so great when kenny left, it will take a decade to dig out from under it.
