    the browns were two yards away and 93 yards with 3 minutes away from a super bowl in the 80s. the lions have never ever been as close to a super bowl as the cleveland browns. trying to argue the lions arent the worst franchise in nfl history is a very tough argument to make.

    hard core gamblers will gamble. casual gamblers will gamble if theyre watching a game. if the game is boring, they wont watch and wont gamble. also, baseball has a vested interest in growing their audience. 3 30 games are a hindrance to that. faster games will likely spur interest. despite the sentiment around here, baseball has more interests than just those of fan duel.

    for example: the most rushing attempts fran tarkenton ever had was 41 in one season. he averaged about 20 a season. jalen hurts had 165 last season. even playing 5 or 6 more games a year thats a massive difference.

    the vikings 1970s offense was not built on tarketon running run/pass options. it was built on handing the ball to foreman and throwing downfield. tarketon was a scrambler. so was staubach. but it wasnt like offense today.
