  1. Vierling with a leadoff double to start the 2nd.
  2. When Monroe is in the booth with Dan I listen to the opposing team’s radio guys.
  3. I can’t believe I haven’t seen Nook Logan’s name yet.
  4. Finally, somebody looks beyond the obvious.
  5. The White Sox? No, that’s great! Love it.
  6. Maeda on Tuesday could get ugly if he hasn’t figured some things out. He’s going against Ryan Pepiot, the Rays return for Glasgow.
  7. I get those on and off. When they ask for my age up front on the survey, I’m a realist, my age flashes DISCARD 🚮
  8. Mortgage rates have found the 7% shelf again. Inflationary pressures are keeping Jerome awake at night. The most debated conversation-smooth landing-is still undecided.
  9. It’s still (sort of) early but this is a good series to see where the team is after a month of play. Two out of three in St. Pete would be trophy worthy right now.
  10. The MLB page is ridiculous with constant hypothetical projections and ‘what ifs’ on a daily basis. I pretty much gave up on the stuff.
  11. The burning question, can the Tigers finish April with a winning record? I think this was one of the bold predictions made prior to opening day.
  12. I knew it was one of the two. Been a while since I heard either so I wasn’t really sure. Hasty and Gania are both very good.
  13. Bill Buckner has and will always be remembered for his error in 86. You don’t hear as much about Leon Durham’s error in Game 5 of the 84 NL Championship Series. Durham let the ball go right through his legs and it costs the Cubs.
  14. I have always believed baseball really missed out in 84 when the Cubs didn’t make it. A Tigers/Cubs series would have been a good one.
  15. From what I’ve heard, Jim Price was of the same opinion.
  16. At 36 years old I don’t know how realistic it is, with his start, to find anyone willing to deal.
  17. Cleveland wins while the Tigers lose.
  18. Flaherty and Maeda both seem to have topped out in spring training. Maeda has totally imploded.
  19. You have to believe in the law of averages.
  20. You would think so. But then again, I never attended Stanford so I sit in the bleacher seats.
  21. It ain’t ovah till it’s ovah.
